sweet! will do. whenever i get this stupid severance check and settled into my new job ill definitely be lookin to have it done.

 

well.. went to a few shops today to get info on the exhaust.

first was Vivid Racing.. yeah.... waaaay out of my league. lol guy was cool tho, gave me a tour and holy hell that shop is amazing.

then to a local muffler shop.. and ehhh.. didnt feel too confident in their abilities and the price.. rough quote of 1200-1300... uh yeah.. bye.

so went back to the original place. which.. did a good job on the AFR sensor install and are good guys. I just got busy with buyin the house and everything.. we eventually fell out of touch. so.. tryin em again and seeing if we can pick up where we left off. they atleast had the truck up on the lift and got pictures and started planning last time i as in there. so they have a head start.

also.. got an unexpected last pay check from my previous job.. sooo its definitely gonna happen as long as i can gt it all worked out.

 

just got some good info..

might be heading to Cali the end of the month to visit my uncle, who is also a car nut.. currently has a built CTS-v. has a very close friend who owns a muffler shop there and has had all his vehicles done by him. got the hookup, so might hold off till i can get out there. might even be able to get full stainless for the price i was looking to pay here.

What kind of shop are you talking about? If it is some form of performance shop, then PM Clifford. He is in AZ too, and has some shop working on his truck.

well the first shop was Vivid Racing, had a nice talk and tour and they gave me some referrals. the other was a small muffler place.. not goin there. think im gonna try to have the hookup in Cali do it.. IF i can get out there, if not, ill just stick with Az Automasters. they did a great job on the AFR bung install and are good people. just lost contact with them during all the craziness of house buying and everything. I will look into that other shop tho. seems legit.. Thanks Tor.

that is the shop I went to. lol like i said.. way out of my league. had some BEAUTIFUL rides in there tho and seemed like good guys. they were more mass production based tho and werent able to do a one off, especially for a vehicle out of their realm like the truck. understandable. i still have the other options.

 

I say go for the hook up but thats just me.....

 

tore apart Lyd's TC and did some painting. painted the front and rear Scion embles and the front back plate. it was black behind the emblem,looks much better in white imo!



painted some interior pieces as well.


painted my steering wheel emblem again and derped the beadlock rings again as well. finishing up tomorrow and washin and detailin the truck finally.

 

might clean the MAF and throttle body tomorrow as well. and beat the pinch weld in some more.

I know.. saw it in that thread. hehe.. thats where i got the idea. i havent done it in a long time.

 

Holy hell, I cant even remember the last time I cleaned that shit............be right back haha

 

hahaha.. i think im out of the cleaner.. or else i would have done it today. ill do it tomorrow when i wash and detail the truck.
