text me tomorrow and remind me.. ill cut em then.. ill just cut the same ones i used.. you may just need to cut them shorter depending on your bars fins.. but.. most likely all fins are the same so they should work. if not.. test fit em, and let me know if they are too long, too tall, or vice versa and i can change them.

I can't tale credit for it. But yeah.. surprised me too. First try (of where to put them and how many) and it worked. Still get wind noise obviously.. but the whistle is gone.

So to keep track and make a list.. I'm going to try the current lighting i have sitting in the garage first.. which consists of:

*basic 5-6" white LED work light bars for reverse lights, mounted under the bumper/on receiver
*small amber pods for rear dust lights mounted under brake lights or on top of bed rails
*amber LED bulbs for dust lights in my high beam reflector bowls
*64 feet of 5630 LED strips for rock lights, bed lights, etc

the led strip will be good, i know that.. but if i need to upgrade the rest in the future.. this is my next plan of attack:

*flush mounted D2 type for the rear bumper in white, flood/driving pattern - backup lights
*hood mounted D2 type in white w/ amber lens or amber LED, spot/driving - driving/dust lights
*bed bar mounted D2 type in white w/ amber lens or amber LED, flood/driving - work/dust lights

Josh...I higly recommend the rigid rock lights for the sides. They're bright as fuck and you'll love the output!

i did the pods before (not rigid though) and they were ok.. I ordered 64 feet of 5630 LED (brightest LEDs available).. they are INSANELY bright. i will be running them around the entire truck so it will be continuous light output on the ground. basically just going to run the entire strip down the length of the truck.. no breaks in between.

a couple people have done it, maybe not the continuous strip... but the strips themselves. Im thinking it will just be easier to wire if i can just run the entire strip down the truck, only needing to tap into power/ground once, at the beginning of the led strip. we shall see

Josh.. just need to worry about power drop as the longer the wire it might fade if you have too much length. Test the whole strip before you mount it to make sure there's no fade. My buddy ran a continuos length and had them on the cab sides and through the bed on the same circuit and ended up having a fade in the bed.

Interesting. Ill check it more in more depth before. When I tested everything when it arrived, there didn't seem to be a drop in brightness/power though. But ill double check. Thanks.

hmmm.. should I add Uniball uppers to my future mod list.. pricey.. and i have aftermarket ones currently.. but I also have an $80 credit at DSM.. and could sell my LR's.. but could also use that for new Eibach 650# coils...

    shit.
