    Yeah, but in the rare case he does load the bed with no over load he could break a leaf. The add a leaf idea will work

    They work good on the trucks I rode in and installed them on. Key is before you put them in is to file the burs off the mounting point from where the OEM one cuts the metal because of the groves on it and not being able to pivot

    So how will those shackles help? i read the link and stuff. it adds more articulation, etc.. but how do they do that?

    I really dont want to take out the AAL either.

    I think i might go buy 300 lbs of sand or concrete, and test that to see if it does anything. if so, return them and get the bed weights.

    They acually pivot and droop unlike the stock ones. Plus they are greats able and will ride better than stock

    hmmm, im just not seeing how they can improve all that. lol but ill take your word for it. maybe im looking too into it. lol

    Alex mentioned they might "lower" it too? how would that work?

    i mean, if i can accomplish all this with those shackles.. im sold! lol

    The extended ones lower the rear because your shackles on 2nd gens are inverted

    alright. I'll help you install them so i can see. I'll probably order them after Sedona too. maybe ill just orer them at the same time and we can install them at the same time, along with my extended top plate studs. :D

    yeah, yeah.. im probably gonna get them. i just want to know for sure it will lower the rear.. not by alot i hope. and that they will soften up the ride.

    they do that by using the different bushings right?

    No they are longer therefore lowering our rears. Mike said on my all pro springs I can expect it to be roughly 3/8-1/2" lower
