    Thanks guys.. good and bad news..

    Ok, got the call.. they said it definitely isn't from the engine. Its a transmission issue.. and.. even then. Its not a huge deal as of now. They all came to the conclusion that if it was their truck, they wouldn't spend the time or money to tear into it. Its still a young engine.. the transmission work they usually do is when a vehicle has 150000-200000 miles on em. If it does get worse over time, they said they can refer me to a actual transmission shop to have them diagnose and repair if needed. They said it might just be a torque converter or something along those lines. So.. in short.. seems to be something slowly wearing out.. what exactly is unknown, but it isn't detrimental.. so.. at some point ill take it in to a trans shop... see what they say. Maybe its due to the Valve body or something.

    That's good, but bad news. Good luck on the next part of trying to figure out what's going on.

    Right? Yeah. Not a full win.. but the lesser of the two evils. My money is on the torque converter.. why its going out is beyond me. Possibly Valve Body upgrade related? Wont know till I get it diagnosed.

    So.. Toyota for a filter, need to pick up a drain pan.. and 6 quarts of some 5w-40 synthetic. Anyone know where to get either Redline or Castrol local?

    Gonna change the oil on the truck Saturday morning.. for my first time.. yeah yeah.. I know. I'm excited to do it tho!.. then to Tucson to finally get this thing on a dyno. :D
