I hardly have any light on my hood at all.. The hyper spot on the rigid really is amazing, even the flood barely hits the hood.

CBI has a thing going on where you get a free shirt with them (actually a quality shirt too) and I think free shipping? Can't remember.
Just completed the instal last night after trimming the cowling. I would recommend them.

Lol lights come In today whenever mail is delivered! I'll post a few pics in here once I get those on.

I think I saw the Cali raised ones basically the same exact thing idk on pricing but CBI was $51. Either way it's gotta be the same instal steps. And other than my driver side bracket needing a bit of modification the hardest part was trimming the cowling cause the instructions just show a weak picture an they say trim where needed:crazy:

    thats what I'm thinking too

good to hear! IDK if I'm going to spend that much on lighting tho.. probably do a cheaper 4D bar.

nice. thanks for the heads up. will probably miss that special.. not gonna be getting new parts/upgrades for a while. at least not until after tax returns.

The 4D optic is a good spot light.

No, its basically cutoff and thrown forward. I'd remount it so its flush or sticks out from the bumper a little bit if I were to redo it, but a plate bumper is on the way so not gonna change it now.

The 4D bar has a combo beam of spot in the middle and fog/wide on the sides though

Thats what I'm thinking.. should do nicely up there... more throw.. less glare.. win win.

I would definitely do ALL spot though.

    Finally getting this done..

Took a BFH to the factory spare tabs.. Got them nice and flat.. We shall see if the full size fits once back from getting mounted and balanced next door. My exhaust dump might be the limiting factor. Worse case I keep it in the bed for now.. Problem is.. I wont have room for it when loaded with the usual gear.. :( if the Prinsu rack does happen.. That could be it's temp home.. Would love a rear swingout.. :spy: it will happen.. Just not sure when.. $$$20160115_125549.jpg 20160115_125121.jpg 20160115_125116.jpg

What if you mount it to the underside of your bed rack?

I don't get how people get a spare tire up top or under a bed rack, they are so heavy!
