I'm wanting them for the occasional instance I tow Q's trailer.. and when loaded with gear.. just to help. they seem like they would be perfect.

I just want a little more support, and airbags are a definite no-go.. thinking I might have to try these.

Take off your Kings and swap them out for some different Kings? Could try out some air shocks, they work pretty good for my work tow vehicle. 2500HD Suburban. Run around with 120psi in them normally, can put up too 500psi when towing a load.

i'm almost in the same boat with ya' i'm goimg to be needing new tires soon i bought a set of wheels off cl just happened to find exactly what i was looking for..they are 17x9 4.5bs and -12 offset they came with 285/70/17 tires which was also what i wanted to use. my buddy has been explaining the attributes of using the 255/85/16 tall skinnies and i understand and agree with what he's saying. but they obviously won't fit on my wheels. so i'm stuck i either put my stock steelies back on and get the tall skinnies (which i can't stand the look of the steel wheels ) or get a set of c rated 285's and keep running what i've got. i'm a little old school here and have always liked a bigger fatter tire. i do understand how well the others perform both on and off road but they also only come e rated my truck is a 2.7 at ac. i think 1 of his concerns is how mine stick out a little which i like the look of but i guess in certain situations they could cause an issue here's a pic so you can see

Hmmm.. idk if I want to get into all that. thats an option tho. Was thinking I could just bolt those bumps in place of my Superbumps and call it a day.

    I hate pizza cutters... lol

I've always been a 285/70 guy myself. on 3 different vehicles.. need at least 11" width in my book and the tires to stick out past the fender.

Those wheels are the exact same as mine, minus the ring. so we have the same wheel specs.

Truck got some new Rubber yesterday...

    285/70/17 Cooper ST Maxx
    18/32nds tread depth
    32.99" x 11.5"
smooth and quiet with just a hint of Mud Terrain hum. :) cant wait to get these out and really test them. The Toyo AT2's lasted right around 33k miles.. and ended up like this..

hoping for at least the same out of the Coopers. So far.. really liking them, especially their aggressive appearance.
