I called and priced out one from Toyota the other day. $321 retail, for the pan, tube, and stick. From a 2003 Land Cruiser.

I just do not know what the clearance will be like with the tube. The member dicussing that, in that thread, said a friend was doing a used pan swap, I believe.

absolutely. I've been out there a few times this year. it's a long drive, but it's worth it

 

I think the factory stall is just fine. 'Course, I am manually biased. Lol.

 

yeah it is. was about 450+ miles for us round trip. went up through Globe, but back down through Payson.

lol. I think I'll stick with the factory stall too.

I started thinking about it.. and it doesnt really matter. I think I'm gonna go with a factory stall anyways. it just doesnt make sense to up it for the little drag racing I do. it would actually be worse when wheeling and doing the slow stuff. if anything.. i would want a lower stall... but factory i think will be best.

also, leaning back to the Reman'd. its just insurance for me that if it doesnt fix the issues, I dont end up spending 600+ on nothing. granted, its still an upgrade. but at 150 bucks.. a reman'd is a cheap(er) check.

 

if I do the Reman'd TC.. that allows me to get some other much needed TLC items at the same time.

like new Body Mount Bushings and Radiator Support Bushings.
