Trust me, im trying. Hopefully not causing more harm.. ill know when I bleed the brakes.

Im going to keep trying, but looking like im going to have to put the wheels on and roll it out of the garage and let it sit until parts come in.

Toyota/Tacoma uses a standard inverted double flare on 3/16" line, the nuts are M10x1.0

    @Torspd can confirm.

Thanks guys. I got all but one on... How good they are on.. Is yet to be determined. Im worried of leaks at every connection.

I cannot get this last one. Ive been at it for hours. Ive crimped the end of thr threaded nut, filed it down, have tried every combination of getting them aligned. Its just not happening. Im going to put it all together and roll it into the driveway and call Toyota. Get the line ordered, have it towed, and the lines installed and brakes bled. That way of the other lines need to be replaced, it's already there.

    It lives!

    20170213_201643.jpg

Thanks to Andrew @The Fluffer coming out Saturday to lend a hand, even in his gimpy condition. Lol
Thank you Colby @Aw9d for the help tonight and bleeding brakes!
And a huge thank you to Alyn @MrCrowntown and Jason @05TacoRunner for the amazing Tech support over the phone. I owe you too a few beers for sure!

It's done, it runs, it stops.

Holy... Shit... I never wish that Hell upon anyone.

Cvs, Hubs, inner seals, and front lines werent that bad. I've done half of those before, so no biggie, except the corrosion and rust. The lines were easy and went together no problem.

I got 3 of the 4 rear lines on after much trial and error mixed with massaging of the flared nuts with vice grips, files, and sand paper. Finally managed to get them on with pure will and hope. Thanks @MrCrowntown

The last one (top right) was just, not, going, on. I ended up having to get pre flared line from Autozone, pipe cutter, and a compression fitting. Got it all cut and installed. Getting to the fittings was a PITA for sure. Thanks @05TacoRunner

Bled the brakes and only had one leak.. I was worried they would all leak, especially with how my luck was going. I was most concerned with that compression fitting, and the new flare nut into the new line. The latter was the culprit. Surprisingly ALL the others were fine.

Took it for a spin and much improved! Feels good. Instant and stiff. No play. Thanks again @Aw9d

    All in all. Huge PITA.
    Id personally pay someone. Lol

    More pics to come.

So incase anyone else runs into this issue and is unaware. Autozone does sell pre made brake lines with the correct fitting. The one Josh bought was an adapter line but he only needed the one side regardless. They also sell splice kits that utilize a compression fitting to splice tuner lines. I had Josh go to AutoZone and buy the parts. He ended up cutting off the factory line a few inches Bach from the flare. He then cut the end of the adapter that he needed off and spliced the two lines together utilizing the compression fitting.
