If you have the skills to do gears then your lucky!

I have a few friends who are mechanics who won't touch them, just because the tolerances and skills that it requires. I'm with Josh, if I regear I'll have someone else give me a complete 3rd member and I'll go on my way. If it blows up, I have someone to go back to. If you set your gears up incorrectly on your own then your shit outta luck.

I don't doubt that I could teach myself how to do it. Especially after finishing a semester long class on the stresses behind meshing gears. But it's worth an extra grand for a 5 year warranty and not dealing with the headache

Random little work while we had family in town..

Swapped on the new skids and brackets thanks to Jesse. Popped in some LED reverse bulbs finally, only been 5 years. lol and then added some more stickers under the hood with Lyd and her Dad.

    IMG_20170610_130225.jpg

I also might have caved.. and added the small amount of patches to my headliner.. I think I'm gonna put them somewhere else though.. still not a fan.

 Hey Buddy! how ya been?

very true.. they just work, and work well. prices arent that too much different than LED nowadays either. Just gonna stick to what has been working the last 5 years .. but just a little re-fresh.. touch of something new.. etc.

    couple updates..

4.56's are ordered. Might be done by next weekend hopefully. :burnrubber:

    IMG_20170616_125312.jpg

Oil Catch can came in, along with the replacement brake lines from Wheelers.

    IMG_20170616_174427.jpg

Also made a quick and dirty... literally... its gross.. flagpole for the truck. got tired of it on the Firestik, and having to take it up and down when I parked in the garage. Made this new one just tall enough to clear the garage.
