Ahh ok. Well shit.. get on it and let's send our stuff together.. and I'll be getting mine re-arched as well after the bumper goes on. Maybe we can work something out if you want.. I can take Whits truck or something to make it easier on you guys. And I heard that! Between the Mini and Lyds TC.. we're covered luckily.

Nice! yah its one of those that I just have not got to. Pretty sure the truck is at the limit but when tuning with justin he said it was doing fine but I think its maxed out. Every time i get the gas tank down to empty I end up having to go somewhere so just got put off. I have a 2.5 as well but was holding off for the Fuel Pump and some Exhaust changes.

Yeah we can definitely work something out. The PC company would probably like doing 4 bumpers all in white rather than just 2 aswell. As soon as I can get Aaron up here to weld it hopefully soon I will let you know. With the vehicles we are good during most of the year cause I usually just ride everyday but during the winter its a no go lol way to fucking cold!

Oh you are? I will just get mine pc'd up here then. But we will figure something out when I head down there to get the truck leveled back out.

Me aswell but it aint my truck so she gets final say on the look she is going for. And will do. More than likely I am going to have to drop it off and pick it up in a couple days or the following weekend so may see if you can grab it from them and I will just get it from you.

How’s the brakes for you? After I heim my front steering and install the spindle reinforcements I have had for a year now; I’m looking at upgrading the master cylinder to a Tundra swap kit and Willwood brakes. I saw you went with the 140-14577 kit, I’ve been looking at the 140-14578 kit that is a little over a half inch larger rotor. They say you need 18 inch rims to fit that brake kit and that’s what’s holding me back, I’d rather have more tire than rim for actual desert racing once I go 35s.

I wish the smaller kit was more than just .28 inches above stock. The larger Willwood kit is .58 inches larger than the smaller one and .86 inches larger than stock. I feel like they could’ve split the difference a little better.

They've been awesome. I have a little review about them on the previous page actually. Yeah, I personally wouldn't run 18's.. that's just me. Even with the "smaller" kit.. it's still larger than OEM.. but you're also gaining an extra piston on the caliper.. shedding weight on the entire setup, etc.

That’s what I get for using the search button lol, glitchy thing didn’t even show that review and apparently I glazed right over it lol.

my biggest gripe on this truck has been the lack of power once you add weight or go up north, and the brakes that only handle well with stock configuration. Otherwise Toyota made a perfect truck, I was worried the extra piston would cause the brakes to be weaker than mine already feel and I already did one brake upgrade to better rotors and pads. I don’t like making the same upgrade twice but I should’ve bit the bullet the first time. No sense in throwing on long travel and going fast and not have equal stopping power.

Haha.. all good. Exactly. I'm with you there. I've been slowly going through and replacing everything I've upgraded/replaced a couple times over now.. with better components to hopefully extend/alleviate that maintenance. I ran EBC upgraded rotors and pads for a while.. and it was a better braking setup.. but the Wilwoods blow it out of the water. The brake fade was the most prominent thing I ran into.. and so far.. these have remedied that. Could be the larger and or slotted rotor, More pistons to spread that load.

Depending on the setup you may see some softer pedal feel but def brings back stopping power. Another willwood option is is from RR-racing which uses the Aero-6 calipers and T4R rotor so you will get 338mm. I have been running that setup for a few years now. (I’m switching to stoptech mainly to match the rear disc setup I have and supposed to dissipate heat a bit better)

the kit is just calipers, adapters but T4R roots are not too $$$. I am using stoptech slotted rotors. You need 17” wheels but will get you the larger rotor plus easy to replace rotor size

I thought about doing that whole setup.. but ultimately I just wanted something that was proven, and all worked/was designed together. All the parts are modular and I can source them easily and replace easily. Plus... Why not flex and go Wilwood. Lol.

I’m in the same boat, already went with Total Chaos and Kings all around the truck. I’ve gone this far and once I go with bigger bead lock rims and 35s I might as well bite the bullet once more and go all out for the brakes this time and just be done with it.

the greatest and worst idea I ever had, build a Prerunner truck instead of buying a RAZR side by side. I figured it would be cheaper than going all out on a RAZR, by the time I’m done it’ll be about the same except I’ll have AC for the desert lol.

Exactly. Same here. When I went with 35s and new wheels, rebuilt the front end, etc. I thought the same. Finish it all off with nice brakes and be done.

Almost got the bumper 100% finished up. Need to add one more table. Swapped in new tail lights and wired up the 3rd brake light as well. Did some organizing and cleaned up the inside some now that everything is out. Scheduled my appointment for leaf re-arch for the 21st. Until then it sits.

Finished up the rear bumper accessories and tables. Got my Wavian Jerry Can fitted and the propane fully mounted. Then made a quick little latch pull with some Paracord, ran up to the swing out and through the spare.. then added an old Winch line pull for a pull handle. A quick pull and it unlatches.. vs trying to fit between the tailgate and flip down table to get the the latch.
Also, I wired up a Blue Sea 12v plug with some length of wire to use it with our power pack for the time being for 12v water. Wanted to test it all out as well before committing to a mounting location, hose runs, etc. Should work great for KOH in a couple weeks. Hoping to run a little section of hose to the swing out for a camp sink/shower.
