We always pack a big rubbermaid tote with camping gear in it, and it'd fit perfectly in that spot sans seat instead of lengthwise taking up a seat and a half.

Definitely better than a CV. Lol Truck ran like a Champ though. Waaaay better than I expected. Everything was solid. No issues with the camper or bumper. I actually like the added weight.. I can tell the difference when wheeling dramatically. I just aired down too low in the rears.. was good for over a day of wheeling.. then just hit a spot it didn't like. For the lip of the new wheel a bit but that's ok. Tires held up great and worked beautifully. These things in the sand are like paddles. Lol I went up a little dune hill in 2wd locked just seeing what it would do.

Definitely. I caught some shit in the beginning when being a little lighter on the truck.. but was still feeling out everything. By the end of the weekend I was feeling pretty confident and comfortable in it again. Excited to start getting out more again!

Catahoula's are great. I read they weren't great with kids though, and I needed a therapy dog for my youngest. He smothers the black one and she simply takes it.

They have tons of energy and need a purpose.
We have/had one. She was great with the kids until about 2. Then she started challenging pecking order of pack. So she went to MIL house where she has acres of fenced in.

yeah she has allot. We have a big back yard with 2 other dogs in our house to play with and 3 dogs along our back fence she runs with all day. I take her out a couple times a week into the woods to run around train off leash but she is still working on being leashed. I cant let her out in the front yard yet off leash cause she just ignores me to run all around the block. She is only about 6 months tho. And picks up all the "tricks" we teach her in about 5-10 min depending on how complicated they are.

Photo dump from KOH. Great time with friends and family. Next year should be even bigger and better. So cool having a base camp during our time out there. So many things to do at the compound and we get to wheel to and from KOH every day.

Day one @prise and I changed a tire on one of his two Stewart and Stevenson (Stewie) after they blew it out wheeling. Then we did some adventuring around his area and checked out The Notches, explored some abandoned Mines, and our old friend the Red MG from last year.

That night @TheForbiddenTaco joined us for the weekend. After some night time shenanigans Thursday and mobbing around the Stewie, riding in the bed rippin' washes (Dont try and vault the tailgate thinking its a pickup bed either.. you'll end up with a bruised heal  ) the next couple days were spent wheeling around checking out a few of the main sections near the lakebed and watching the races. Stopped and checked out the Dunes as well and played around. Did some people/rig watching at night and followed some groups through the washes just lighting up the trail and watching.. good times for sure. At one point we came across a group that needed some help, so my Uncle jumped to action.. Dude almost flopped it right in front of us. Night times are the best out there. lol

Oh yeah and blew the bead on the rear passenger tire. Just too low PSI. Was trying some different PSI with all the newly added weight. Ran good at 13-15 when I originally aired down for a couple days, then it just decided to let go on the trail. Luckily it was near a sandy section so I limped it to a flat spot. First rock rash on the wheel! Lol The tires held up great tho. I did check the other side at the time of re-seating and it was at 10. So they might have lost some in the temp changes... Now I know. Other than that.. the Mickey's did amazing. It was fun re-seating the bead.. that was a first for me on the trail. Im bummed I didn't get a picture.. was just too hype and having too much fun in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night. Lol
...It was the side I had just slapped a fresh Hardline Land Co. "This Toyota Fucks" Resi sticker on.

    PXL_20220207_225103462.MP.jpg

Also dragged the rear BAMF bumper through a section. Everything held up great.. and I was a bit worried or concerned with the weight and slight movement in the bumpers mechanisms.. but damn did it hold up fantastic. Super solid, no issues with latches or dust getting built up on mechanisms. Nothing loose. Tables worked great. The weight actually feels nice back there and definitely helps in certain situations I noticed.
