Aaaand someone broke into the camper last night and went through all my shit. Well.. my dumbass didn't lock it. Stole some of my tools and maybe some other random stuff from my tool bag. Ordering some cameras for the house.

Need to swap out all the joints in the front end before any wheeling. But parts are on the way for that. So yeah we should do something soon

yup. People were saying its against the COC, etc.. (IDK.. I've never read that in my 11 years of being here.. lol) in the Live thread so I deleted it. Just didnt want to mess with it.. wasnt worth the energy. But then I found it was removed in the AZ BS thread after a day or so. Just irritating and makes me bummed out that the one place I turn to for help.. the one place that has been a great community of like minded people and people I call good friends, that have helped me in the past and I have returned the favor countless times.. and we all pay it forward and help each other out, rescue each other.. blah blah blah. and I cant post that?? I get it.. there are scams.. but damn.. I've been here and have been very active for over a decade.. but that doesnt mean Jack.

WOW! One would think 11 years and 28k post would add some validity to your name.. but again people have proven they suck and we can't even do anything nice for someone when we need too...

You'd think.. but whatever. People were still awesome enough to reach out in PM after the fact and help out how they could. Still good people here.

    Lol.

Luckily they didn't get away with that much in tools. They snagged a small Craftsman set I had in a case.

Yeah, gave me an excuse to buy all new tools. What suprised me though is they didn't grab any of the 3 channel locks I had sitting on the top rack of the tool box. mustve been a quick grab and just took the bag, boots, gone.

If you had any markings could put a notice to local Pawn Shops about it.

nah, was just a back up kit I had in the bag. They definitely passed on a TON of other stuff that was more valuable and easier to grab. They just had no idea what they were looking at.. lol ARB inflators, air lines, power pack, lights, radios, etc.

Its been 3 years since then. I scoured FB Marketplace and Craigslist for a while after it happened but just knocked it up to an expensive lesson to keep shit locked even if you're only gonna be away an hour.

EDIT: Oh you meant him not me.

Last month I installed a ring Spotlight Camera on the front of my garage. I can even yell at would be thieves if the light turning on doesn't scare em off. It sends a notice to my phone as soon as the motion sensor is triggered and it's always recording.

Thats exactly the one I've been looking at. My worker has the whole Ring setup and it is nice. Thats the first one I want to do though. Spotlight style over the garage.

We have the whole deal. only problems I've had is the furthest door sensor from the base disconnects every now and then and the Keypad has never functioned, but I don't use it since I can arm remotely from my phone anyway. Ring doorbell and the front cam. Thinking about adding a rear one too.

thats the combo I'm gonna do. front garage facing up under the peak of the roof.. a rear backyard facing in the same spot under the roof, and the front door.
