Thats were the privilege of driving a 97 comes into play. I will pull carpet and put sound deadening in while its all pulled IDGAF. And last night you fucked your o2 simulators?! How hard is it to replace those?

Very true. We'll see.. once we're there and check it out more.. maybe it wont be too bad.

Not hard, just URD doesnt make them anymore. They arent exactly legal in most states. lol I have no cats, so those were to trick the ECU into thinking I do, so the truck doesnt throw codes.

Unfortunately not easy so far. It’s running lean so I have an air leak somewhere. I’ve changed all the vacuum lines and still lean, changed the 02 sensor and still lean, next is fuel pump. It’s over 20 years old so a lot of this needs replaced anyway. Joys of maintenance

Oh I see. So you just have codes being thrown right now? How does the truck like that or does it not really care?

I might have something. To me it looks like some sort of extension for o2 sensor, but I can snap a pic of it if you want? been sitting in my junk drawer for years. Thing is, I only have 1.

Thats just how my garage is too. After doing and helping so many people with mods and stuff I have so many extra toyota parts, bolts, plastic tabs, etc just floating around. Its nice in a pinch.

Can you...yes...allowed to....no. There is a path underneath it for when the water is flowing.

ahhh.. bummer! fuel pump sounds like a good possible culprit though. Maybe the canister? My old coworker had a similar issue on his 1st gen b ack in the day.

Yeah, doesnt drive any different nor does it care, but emissions will. lol and I just dont want lights on the dash.

yessir! kinda keep that mindset when your stuck dumping thousands in at one time on repairs. lol ask me how I know.. lol

hmmm... it might be it or part of. curious for sure. post a pic!

saaaaaame. It's like a parts store for sure! it is nice though.

@Cr250jumper If its the charcoal canister I have a thread on a delete for the canister if you want to try that.

And for emissions josh you can just register your truck at your parents or my house. no more testing.

That was my plan.. register it at my parents. I used to do that for my other vehicles back in the day. I'd prefer not to, but if thats the only way.. no biggie.

The problem is it is actually running lean, it’s so bad that it won’t go over half throttle. That’s why I’m leaning towards fuel pump, it revs to the moon in neutral but in gear or under load it will not rev quickly or go past half rpm
