My next plan for the rear is Archive relocate and new Kings and then call it done. Then tune front and rear.

Only reason I haven’t gone to SUA is because I plan to tow. I can say SOA has a lot to be wanted in the bump travel department.

    hush

I wanted to keep that an option as well, plus the weight capacity.

:anonymous: I only know because I am in the same boat.

Alcan came back with the quote for the custom rear leaf springs. $1186.00
Built for a 6" lift. 900 lbs over stock (I think it would be better around 700lbs)

I'm saving my pennies for the reloate kit as well. Archive has a solid thread about the kit and different configurations guys have used. May have to wait till next year!

Curious what Valley Spring would quote you to build a new pack and or modify your existing one. You think 700lbs would be enough? I'm close to 1k lbs over the rear of the truck. Total weight is 6300+

Oh yeah, I've read them all over and over. Lol maybe a discount on shipping if we order together??. :D that's kind of my schedule as well. The Hangers were the last big hoorah for me this year, but also did get a great deal with the initial testing/release. Although.. the Rad and Cooler need to happen too sooner than later.

Oh boy... Thanks for that Rabbit hole Bill.. I agree on the issue and I'd be interested in that fix too. But also.. is all that worth it? Lol it would be nice.. but I think I'm sold on a relocate and some tuning and call it a day. I know I won't be bombing washes anymore. I've come to terms.. No more go-fast truck.. more like.. shmedium speed heavy house. Lol

I'm in for an order of the kit but the shocks I'll need will have to wait to purchase! I need to run through these Bilsteins before i do another upgrade.

Cooler we can tackle in a couple hours. making the room and moving your existing bits will take a beer or two!

    MOd day!

I hear ya.. in stages. Lol would be the same for me too.. and that's if I could even find Kings.

Sounds good. Maybe I'll order that stuff this week/weekend then. Sounds like a good time.. haven't had a mod day in a while.

I really liked the fact the truck was a nice balance of both for a while.. then it all went downhill from there. My hobby and desire to wheel and camp outweighed everything else ultimately I guess.

Yeah I just need a new pack all around. These are done and I just want to get one that is built for the needs and not frankensteined. Youre at 1k lbs?! Well shit ok 900 should be good then. I was just roughly adding numbers up in my head. But also not thinking about the stuff I still havent added yet. It is finally hitting whit about what it costs to have a modded truck lol Between the leafs and she needs new tires soon too.

    yeeeeah.. expensive hobbies.. lol

Well, the truck weighs in at 6300+.. ~350 in the camper, another ~400 with the bumper and all its shit, plus fridge, camp gear, water tank, etc. when all filled, that's another ~250. That's why I did the BBK beforehand.

Yep.. sounds about right. Mine's a little more rear biased.. but overall the same weight. Also have a 13 gallon tank that I always keep half full.

Expensive for sure. Even more so now that I am not skimping on parts.

    Rear bumper about 400
    gfc 290
    camping gear 150
down the line doing a water tank, fridge, and build out I guess I will be pushing 1000 lbs.

    hmm decisions decisions

That was my next question is where you guys go to weigh at. Perfect. Alcan wants me to weigh the truck before they start building.
