Oh that will be cool to just get the conversion done and not buy new wheels. Got to start taking it slower buddy!

 

Yeah, it was a great time! Was our 3rd year going.. gets better every year.

Yeah, save some money and get what I want. Probably do some other stuff while the truck is down at the same time. Definitely a learning curve still, but this was a good trip for it. Great shakedown and found the limits. So should be refinement now.

 

I really want to go at some point. Always looks like a blast!

 

highly recommend it. It can be a shit show, but that's the fun of it.

For instance.. I spent 4+ hours Saturday night helping these guys get out of their shitty situation. We were watching a large group roll through this section called Blueberry, and carnage ensued. Ran down to check on him after he flopped it, and it turned into me helping, running back and forth with tools, straps, air, etc. I just couldnt help myself.. had to help.. (plus its just fun) Had to winch front and back to clear the ledges he was stuck in. rear hydro steer was locked up... motor Hydro'd and wouldnt crank.. even after pulling plugs, jumping the starter, etc. Had to get winched out.. dead weight. Other crawler that was helping kept blowing beads with beadlocks.. was just a shit situation and area. Took a lot of work to get him out.. but.. that's the fun of it! Made some great friends out of it that were complete strangers before.





I gotta go through everything else still and post the rest of the pictures and videos of the trip.

That's nothin compared to what's out there too. Haha.

It was pretty dope tho.. but he was pissed. He had a propane 22r prior to this EFI buggy and that's what did him in. He killed it quick, but it still locked up. Sold me on going Propane for sure. I always wanted to if I ever went the crawler life (have had a build/alternate life imagined in my head for years.. lol) but that was a good first hand experience learning lesson on why to go propane.

One of the other cars helping was an older ultra4/race car. The 2nd buggy helping was a propane 22r.. who just laid it on its side prior to this and walked it back out no problem.

It was cool getting to really test my 20k lb Recovery strap.. had to bust it out because we ran out of line at one point. Such a cool experience though and was glad we got to help out and learn some stuff too.

 

If you had a Go Fast Camper, I belive you could go faster..
