Doubly same. Yet my ears perked up when I just read that you guys might be getting rid of shit. Hmmm, "whatcha got there?"

Lol. Mostly just old parts. Kept for whatever reason. Beat up skids. Spare calipers. Stuff from the S/C install. Just random...shit. Lol

Did a solo night run through Elvis a couple weeks ago. @Milota95 and I started at like 8:30 and finished up and was airing up around Midnight. Was a successful run, no bypasses taken and no real damage minus some battle wounds on the sliders and skids.

Only photo I snagged that night. Q got some good video throughout the night though.

Got out and ran Hackberry at night again with some of the guys a couple weeks ago..

    Screenshot_20240826-114240~2.png

And did some Dove hunting with the homies on opening day..

    PXL_20240901_175524089.MP.jpg

Also, starting the process of new tires and wheels.. Looking at mickeys again.. but thinking about trying the XS. 4 ply sidewall vs 3 ply.. and a C rated tire at 2450lbs @ 35psi vs the current D rated M/Ts. Slightly heavier.. at another 6 lbs.. and slightly more expensive.. but if I can get into a stouter sidewall tire (slashed one of the M/Ts on Hackberry) AND gain a better ride on road and better squish off road.. why not.

Those, plus the new Dakar beadlocks that are 12lbs heavier than my current Dakars.. will put me at 18lbs heavier per corner. Worth it?... I think so. Just $$$$

Well.. The rear end is smoked again.. little over a year and ~8k miles. Need to pull it apart and see what's going on this time. It sounds like the exact same thing as last time where the Ring gear bolts started backing out. The only thing that makes me think its not that is the fact this 3rd had safety wire added to said ring gear bolts from ECGS. Going to drain and check for particles.. but even then.. that didnt tell me anything last time.. not until I got the whole 3rd out did I find the cause. Not sure if its the power + weight + hard wheeling that's doing it (like the recent trips posted above).. or something else is causing them to fail, like bent axle shafts or pinion angle, etc. Hopefully ECGS will work with me a bit..

Thanks guys. IDK if it'll be covered or not by ECGS. There are some stipulations that I may fall under.. we'll see. I'm also hesitant to just throw in another 3rd member in case it is something else screwy making them fail.. not sure where to go from here at the moment. Need to gather more info first between ECGS and draining fluid.

Bummer man...! Hopefully the ecgs warranty will extend and cover your rear end (literally and figuratively).

Tagging @nudavinci64 as he had multiple diff failures. Not ring gear bolts per say.... but his truck is a HW with horsepower and also loaded down. Maybe he has some insight.

I was actually going to reach out to him because I do remember him having some similar repeated issues. Was already mentally preparing myself for if it is just the nature of Heavy + Power + Hard wheeling. Need to check the axle shafts for run out possibly and if it is due to the above.. then I guess the next step is axle upgrade.. hoping I dont NEED to go down that whole rabbit hole though.

Rabbit holes are fun. I know a guy that can redrill tundra axles to 6 lug if you go that route

Just browsing and checking out options.. I like Front Range's option of retaining stock 30 spline but upping the diff size to 9.5"
