Yeah milk it so you are actually being productive to some degree. My fab shop is doing the same thing right now. They could do everything on their list and have nothing for next week. I just got a massive gate out to one of them that will take a long while to complete.

Just got some confirmation on the whole axle width dilemma. It doesnt matter as much as I'm making it out to be.. but personally I want my track widths to be as matched as possible. So, that being said.. it seems to be the Norm to run the IFS hub conversion + wheel spacers to match widths. So my plan is to source the parts needed to do the hub conversion + wheel spacers for now and that will match the rear axle nicely.

Red or Dead Fab up in Prescott has been awesome with answering all my questions. I love those guys up there. Been following for awhile.. since he was on Ultimate Adventure years ago.

Really like those guys builds! They just helped out Rudy (Rudy's adventure and design) with his build for the onyx build series. I think they helped out @TaylorU on his truck recently as well. Been following them for awhile and it's nice to see them getting more attention.

I will definitely be hitting you up man! I'm thinking about doing the relocate for the Taco at the same time since it'll all be torn apart. Planned on removing a leaf or two while I was in there as well.

    little update..

I have everything for the Taco now in hand.. just need to finish tearing down the passenger side axle shaft, pull the axle housing from under the truck, and then I can start reassembly on everything. Need to swap the drum brake components over to the new axle shafts and install the new Shoes for the drums, install new seals on the axle housing, and bolt everything up. Going to take this opportunity to do a U-Bolt flip kit and pull a leaf from the rear pack as well.

Then.. that extra leaf will be going in the Turbo 4Runner's rear leaf pack for just a little more lift height to clear 35's. I'm also balls deep in the process of fixing the turbo flange adapter issues as well as heater/cooling issues I found while tearing into it all. I am waiting for a couple parts to show up, but then I can replace everything on the 4Runner plus fix some cooling/heater core issues (that was a massive headache trying to figure out correct routing and what was what on this 39 year old Turbo setup, massive thanks to @BillDaCat8 for the diagrams and entertaining my word vomiting). Should have it back on the road in a couple weeks with no exhaust leaks, more power, and working heat!

Old axle is ready to come out finally! I fought to get the passenger side axle shaft out.. by having to replace the entire parking brake cable and pull it out connected to the axle shaft as one piece. The star adjuster on that side for the drums/shoes was completely seized so I couldn't pull the drum off the shoes.. which meant I couldn't unbolt the parking brake cable. Ordered a new cable and disconnected from under the center console in the cab and pulled it all out. Back to where I was a month or so ago.

Need to pick up a U bolt flip kit and pull a leaf from the pack then start installing all the new stuff. Maybe by end of this weekend I'll have it all finished up.

Still need to finish the 4runner too tho.. but finally have all the parts I need for that so I can start getting that back together as well.

Diff is in. Drums are built. Just need to replace the battery and fill and bleed everything. Every single component in and on this rear end is new. All new brakes including springs, levers, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums, new seals, bearings, hardware, axle shafts, axle housing and passenger side parking cable. Also, I hate drums.. but I'm pretty decent at them now having to build both sides from scratch. Lol
