    Nice truck. I remember the mini truck days. There aren’t many left where I live. They’ve all rotted away.

    @Aw9d

    going to order the remainder of my interior today. Molded carpet kit, dash cover, RCA's, seat belts, window regulators/cranks, misc hardware.

    Im torn on the carpet kit. its 150 for the regular kit with just the recycled foam stuff underneath.. or 230 for it with the mass backing. Think I should go with the mass backing option? just helps out with sound and heat more. Going to order the RCA's in a 6.6ft option as well. then just need about 8-10 feet for power. about 3 feet for ground. I have speaker wire and can use whatever for remote. It should all show up around the same time the 5-1/4 components do. hoping for an install in the next couple weeks.

    Yeah I'm not going all out like that on the Mini. the carpet with mass backing will be it. I deadened the Taco with some other brand.

    Ordered from Amazon (had a $50 gift card): regulators, cranks, RCA's, and some dress up washers for the door panels when I re-do them.

    and ordered from Ebay: Black Carpet kit w/ mass backing, Red seat belts, and black dash cover

    interior is getting close! should have all my materials and misc stuff in the next couple weeks.. so I can slowly start stripping it all out and getting it ready. Need to cut out the other speaker area and make templates for cover plates.. waterjet those at work once I have templates, then install stereo, carpet, redo my doors, add seat belts, etc.. then start laying out my center console I plan on making from sheet Aluminum.

    The more sound deadening the better IMO.

    Raamaudio FTW. $110 for 37sqft. One pack would be enough to do the entire inside cab of the mini truck.

    I highly suggest it. Call them and tell them what you are doing and they will setup a package for your exact needs. I've done 3 of my cars/trucks with Raamaudio deadner and it's a great product.
