My harness took like a month but I’m in Canada too. Harness works great.

 

I was quoted 2 weeks, it took 7.

I didn’t send F&F. I have yet to hear of someone who paid but didn’t get their item.

It is a shame that this is still happening. I wish the quoted lead time matched the delivery time. The piece is of very high quality, but I understand everyone’s (rightful) frustration.

It would make more sense to make the product in batches and only sell what’s on hand.

 

@MikeyMcFly that’s simply dishonest business. Tell the buyer, How long it will take. Also, don’t take more orders then what you can ship out on time. Just simply be upfront about it. Is that simple. I’m seeing that this has been on ongoing problem. He’s taking too long and not communicating it at the time of the inquiry. That would be enough.

I don’t disagree with you. I was there waiting for many weeks. My friends were sick of hearing about it. I was mad enough to want to reverse engineer it, but it came and it was a quality piece.

My reason for posting was simply sharing my experience, which is relevant in this thread. This is not the first time a thread like this has been made, but everyone ultimately got their harness.

It stinks, but unless things changed it’s still the best option to get the 2020 LED lamps.

Almost everyone who has fabricated stuff on here, including all vendors have had issues meeting correct lead times for items, bumpers, skids.... you name it, deadlines have been missed. This is just the way of life for custom shit.

 

Personally I’d send him a message to cancel my order. No response after like 2-3 business days and I’d just call my bank and see if they can reverse the charge. The end.

And never use friends/family ever again for purchases. Whenever I see someone say friends/family I think potential scam or just some turd who can’t figure out pricing to factor in fees.

 

True, sometimes the market for stuff makes it hard to sell once you add another 4%. Not sure in this case though. I get where youre at though, I've bought stuff from Japan that I knew would be months and it turned out to be nearly a year at times. The worst I went through though was a shift knob, from someone Ive purchased with multiple times. Apparently as time passed his business was slipping and what was to be 6-8wks spiraled into 6 months. I was super patient, but ultimately had to warn him of the impending charge back. That lit the fire and it arrived a week later, quality was still top notch at least.

Another happy camper here. I put my trust in the universe, and the harness showed up. As my structural engineer would say, "don't they know that when I say one week, it means two weeks" Also, it's not like anyone else is making this part. Hopefully, @xrunnerdude67 isn't having a family medical emergency or something... Now, if I could only bring myself to spring for the headlights.

 

I agree with this. He disappeared for three weeks and pretty much disappeared when communication was pretty spot on in the beginning. Once he got his money there wasn't anything for almost a month and counting. Even if his intentions are good, a simple update would've changed everything. Or at least stating it's going to take a lot longer than the advertised shipping time haha. Good news is that it looks like you will most likely get your part...at some point.
