Then def go out and play! That's how you're going to learn what you'd like. Honestly I'd do a differential breather relocate first if you plan on going out near water. As for the lift you could get the spacer lift for like $300 or or you could upgrade to an actual suspension.

Don't rush into anything. But it looks like your options are:

    Leave it alone

    Get a spacer lift

    Get a new suspension

I am very happy with my ProComp ProRunner SS suspension with the 3rd Gen springs and a small spacer.

@2013XSPX how well do spacers and blocks ride?

I work all over the US and in my field everyone has a built truck. I ride in all my buddies. Unless you're talking about a $3000 suspension I don't see much difference in behaviors in ride quality.

The difference comes in PERFORMANCE. Block kits will wear parts faster and if you're doing any heavy wheeling could break fast and cause a bad day.

@2013XSPX what’s the best way to loft the rear than?

    For the rear you can:

Get a new leaf pack (You'll need to make sure the shocks you're running can handle the height)

Get an ADD A LEAF (You take your leaf springs off and slide in an extra leaf to the pack then put your leafs back on)

Put blocks below your current leaf springs

Do you have any suggestions for either add a leaf or new leaf springs that are realitivly cheap, cheaper than the AALs

I found a set of 2017 leaf springs with AAL on them here on the classifieds for $100. Check Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace as well. Otherwise HeadstrongOffroad is a great place to purchase those items.

Sorry, @XSP-X Modder got busy at work. But, @2013XSPX pretty much covered all the bases with you.

Just a notation for your research...spacer lifts are HATED on this forum because "everyone is such a serious off roader" lol. I mean, I wouldn't recommend rock crawling with a spacer lift but 95% of lifted trucks on the road are running them.

I had a spacer lift on my 2011 Dakota 2wd for 60k miles that was mostly a street driver with zero change in ride quality or any issues whatsoever. So if budget is a concern, just do that and you can always upgrade later.

For rear lift, I have heard a lot about Tacoma leaf springs being to weak for a block. Basically the block creates a pressure point in the middle cause the U shaped arc to turn into a W. When that happens you ass end sags and there goes your lift height. So I would seriously consider an AAL if you can swing it.

    Good luck!

I’m looking for a set of the LED DTRL under the headlight. Anybody willing to sell me theirs before they sell/trade in or know of anybody who has an extra set?

Depending on the height of the new coil springs I buy will the stocks shocks still work?

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure you'd need a longer shock to accommodate the longer spring.

I almost didn't recognize my own truck it has changed so much! Ha. I have my rear pods wired from the battery to the back with an anytime switch. Super easy. I use them a ton! I have a Pelfreybilt aluminum rear bumper now with Baja lights.

Did you have to use a relay or just a basics on/off?
