No actually been working on it, I just don't report so I get flak from you guys. NST showed 9hp peak power on their dyno of an IMS. I had to reschedule a run with a member on here due to work conflicts just a couple weeks ago. I am 1 of 3 IT analysts for a large company. 1 guy has been out for medical reasons, and the other guy off for vacations. We have 1100+ employees so it makes it very hard for me to get away for a day. Those who run these know they work. Sorry on the delay. After the new year the other guys should be back so I will be able to get a day off.

The OP and I talked about getting my truck up there since it's a 6 speed but I only had a relatively small window before I had to head back out of the country for work. I've got a couple of weeks in January and will try to work out something if possible.

 

IDK about the Tacoma. I have Pontiac Solstice with a 2.0 I4, turbocharged, intercooled, GMPP tune. There is a Phenolic spacer set for the intake that dynoed a 11hp, 1lb ft of torque. Installing a set this winter Should get over 300hp, 340lb ft of torque total after install The theory is it slows down the heat soak keeping the charge air cool (more dense) resulting in some real HP gains.

 

Does anybody know if this will fit an FJ cruiser? Same engine obviously, but I don't know about placement of parts here and there.

 

Sometime in 2010, the FJ recieved the 'revised' 260HP 4.0 that has a different intake manifold and VVTi, that MIGHT be different but it could also have the same intake runner shape at the valley, that needs verification.

Just installed the spacer its nice lower the rpm little going up hill and after 2500 rpm definetly feel little bit.

 

My next order should be ready next week some time. All colors will be available. Blue, Fast Red, Fast Gold, Green, Black and Billet Silver.

 

I am looking forward to this product, especially having played with valve timing and intake and exhaust impulse power modifications with small 2-strokes. It's a neat method to change powerband characteristics, especially in 2-strokes, but 4 strokes are much less effected. I would curious to see the effects on the custom length one you are working on as it should lower the powerband even more in theory, but who knows what the ECU will say.

 

Ive had mine on for a couple of months now I do feel a difference in responce and power-less down shifting up hills as well Mike C...AZ

OMG We're FINALLY seeing a Dyno, what, 2 years later???? I'd like the premier ski-lift ticket please, I hate waiting in lines, and there's alot of people in hell...

 

All Joking aside, I for one would have bought this a long time ago if there was proven dyno results with HP gains. If this turns out to be legit, I see a pretty large bump in sales.
