No, it doesn't void warranty. For 1 it is very hard to know it's even on there. 2 The dealer has to prove a certain part actually causes a problem. 3 no one to date has had any issues due to one of these being installed, dating back to the inception in 2006. 4 if there was any reason you were worried about it taking it to a dealer, just take it off beforehand.

I just completed my purchase. I have a ported lower intake and smoothed and deburred plastic upper assembly. I'm going to send the spacer and lower assembly out to have a thermal barrier coat done and try to install over Memorial day weekend, or maybe the weekend after. We'll see how my rig likes the changes.

Yes. Everything is able to go back as it was, but you need to notch out the end of the brackets with a dremel.

 

Hmm, cutting... What's this bracket for? First time reading of this...

 

There are 3 brackets on the right side (driver's side) of the black intake plenum that help hold it in place. When raising things up the bracket holes at the top don't line up. Notching out the top allows you to use the same brackets. Open your hood and take a look, it will make sense.

So I had mine installed for about 2 weeks now, just this last weekend I went on a 600 mile round trip road trip! Was a blast, however, I seem to have experienced worse MPG than I usually ever do on the highway.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a possibility the gaskets didnt seal against the spacer properly? Would that cause an engine code to pop if it were a vac leak from that? Anyone have any thoughts?
