Yep. When he first created his listings, he copied my description almost word for word. His design is identical to my old design too.

You won't be sorry! Great product! Got em on my 03 and they are fantastic! Opened and closed the windows all summer and didn't worry about the latch breaking.

    Hey all!
Its been a while since I've ran a sale on my pivots. For 2 weeks on eBay only you can buy a pair for only $7.89, or a single for only $4.89. Free shipping!

    Links are here:
    Pairs are here
    Singles are here

Just a reminder to purchase only from Dasher Deals! There is a guy making inferior clones out there that stole an old design of mine.

    Enjoy, and spread the word!

Thank you! You should have them on Friday or Sat.
Interesting that the dealer said that Toyota is no longer manufacturing the replacement hinge. I guess that's good news for me!

You guys may have noticed I am out of stock on Amazon, but I still have a handful left on eBay. A new batch will be in this week, and I'll adjust Amazon to reflect.

Thanks again everyone for your support!

Need to order me a set of these. Mine aren't broken but just in case. Are you having them anodized black?

They aren't anodized, as that raises the price of manufacturing by almost double. Nothing a quick blast of spray paint cant fix though.

    Hi redrum,

I ordered a pair of these back in October on Ebay. I only installed one on the passenger side, but i notice that it doesn't completely close the window all the way as there is an air gap that's noticeable when driving. Have you ever had anyone reply with that feedback? I'll have to check, but that side may have had the whole latch replaced at one point. That might have something to do with it. I need to reply the other side anyway, so I'll see how that goes and provide some feedback on that. I know that the driver's side still has the complete latch from the factory.

Is this why one of mine makes a loud cracking sound every time I open it?

Sometimes the metal arm mounted to the truck gets bent outwards slightly during installation of the new pivots, causing a gap. Open the window and climb in the back seat. Grab the arm and give it a couple of tugs inwards. Don't overdo it, as it could break if you muscle it too much. It doesn't take much. See if that helps.

If its loud and difficult to lock, or if it feels spongy and wont lock, It could be the "nub" on the back of the pivot is slightly too tall making it difficult to clear the plastic on the back of the latch handle. Just file it down by 1/4mm or so, and try again. You can file it while its still in the truck. Even a nail file works fine. Just dont overdo it, or it wont lock at all.

Remember, this is now a metal part locking against plastic, whereas it used to be plastic on plastic. Its going to be a little more finicky.

Let me know how it goes!
