So how much of the fuel pump noise did you get rid on 20m? I don't have any noise on UHF just on HF.

I would say about "half". Without bonding, a 20m signal at +20 or better would be completely wiped out with the engine on. I can hear a +20 signal and about a 2 after bonding. Still completely unusable. Everything north of 20m is fine with engine on, driving down the road, etc.

Whoa you totally one-upped with the copper bolt washer idea. Those are amazing, how can I do that?

1/2" water pipe for the braid ends. It fits .75" braid perfectly. If you don't want to cut off you're own pipe, just buy the copper 1/2" couplers at Home Depot. Smash them onto the ends of the braid using your trailer ball as and anvil. Trim the excess flush with scissors. Drill a .25" hole and attach with stainless hardware.

I had a thread about the PWM noise the fuel pump and the pump ECM spews with some spectrum analyzer videos. I gave up because the fix would more than likely void warranty and Im waiting to see if the fuel pump recall extends to the '16's at all before I tear into this down the road.

How did this setup work for you? I need something for a quick POTA activation and I have a spare FT-891 not used right now.
