I just installed the Yakima Skyline system with Jetstream crossbars using the factory mounting locations. It never dawned on me that the bars were too far apart to accommodate my Thule roof cargo box! After doing some research, it seems like others are having a similar issue including people with the Toyota OEM bars.

The crossbars are 43.5" apart outside to outside (from front most part of front bar to rear most part of rear bar).

I can't seem to find a cargo box that goes that wide for the quick connects. Is there a box that people are using that I am missing? If not, I wanted to know what folks are doing.

    1. Using a soft cargo box that you lash to the crossbars (and maybe use plywood on the bottom for structural support so it doesn't sag towards the center).
    2. Using U bolts and drilling holes in a cargo box (see link below). https://www.amazon.com/Glazeal-Univ...al+roof+box+u+bolt+clamps,aps,327&sr=8-8&th=1
