Is that the 2 person or 3 person tent you have?

It's the 3. But it's more like a 2.5 which is fine for me since it's used primarily by me and my son.

Ok thanks. I was contemplating buy one this weekend, REI has them on sale but wasn't sure about the fit of the 3 person on the bed of Tacoma. Your picture you posted of it I think has me convinced to go ahead and make the purchase. Any drawbacks or regrets since getting it?

None. Getting it on sale is the way to go. I could not bring myself to pay $600+ more for a heavier Tepui or CVT...for an RTT that I knew I would only be using a few times a year. So far so good.

Just commenting to follow the thread. I’ve been looking at RTTs for a while.

I just picked up a 3 person for $100 last weekend at an REI yard sale. Can't wait to try it out.

Looks good. I just picked one of these up and its making me consider putting a rack on my leer cap.
    :spending:
What kind of set up did you go with? Seems to be holding up just fine for you.

edit: I cant tell that its Yakima from the round bars (i think), i'm curious about the exact model.

Thanks...it's just your basic rails, 4 towers and two round bars. Go with the other ones bars, not the round bars. Your tent will fit on it much better.
