My '09 CRV backup camera doesn't have the lines. I have to laugh when I see them with the lines????? What's the point?

    Sorry, a little off topic!

I use the lines frequently. Each line translated to roughly 12 inches. It helps since my driveway barely fits two cars, so i know how close i have to be to my wife's car.

Ya that's what mine looks like. I drove my wife's Rav 4 last week and she has yellow lines to show the direction she is turning. Maybe it's just in my mind that I had it on the Taco. Thanks for everyone's reply's......

There are no yellow lines for the Tacoma, just the blue and red.

My wife has a 17 rav4 that has yellow lines that show where you are going in reverse. My 17 Taco never had this feature.
My suggestion is to drive the rav less and Taco more, then the problem will fix itself.

Took a 2017 Lexus IS for a test drive and I HATE the new bending/directional thing they got going on now with the backup camera (with yellow lines). Are we that incapable of backing up now we need that shit too? That alone would almost stop me from upgrading from my 14

The fact that lots of cars can now parallel park for you says yes, people are that incapable of backing up.

My wife is a terrible driver. TERRIBLE. I am all for anything that helps her.
Seriously, you all should be thankful too.

Yellow lines appear on the small center screen next to speedometer. They light up either the center or corners of the bumper to let you know where you're getting close. Obviously, mine have not disappeared.

I think OP is confused on where he saw yellow.
