Sooooo today I was making a dirtbike ramp out of a manure pile and my friends and I were using a Polaris to push some of the dirt and managed to get the thing stuck on the top of the manure pile. I instantly drove back home to get the tacoma to tow the polaris off the pile and I heard towing in reverse with the front recovery point is bad for the truck so i just stupidly hooked the tow hook into one of the holes of the rear bumper/frame. I got the polaris down but the damn hook wedged itself all the way in the hole... Anybody have any suggestions on how to get the hook out???IMG_9948.jpg IMG_9950.jpg IMG_9953.jpg IMG_9959.jpg

Whack it with a big hammer. If that doesn't work, get a 4 " grinder with a cut-off wheel and cut the thing off.

if it went in it can come out. I'd try using vise grips or a pry bar

That and a strap with loops. The ones with hooks are bad news.

Use a pry bar tip and whack it with a big hammer. I was really surprised to see the Maryland tag. Just knew this was going to be OK or TX.

Put a small strap through the gap between the hook and bumper. Hang a weight from that strap so it has force pulling straight down. Smack the sides of the hook to rock it. Then go get a hitch and one of these.
