I've really tried to be patient, watching the mailbox for the check each day, it finally arrived Saturday so I went in this morning and deposited it only to find the credit union put over 2/3rds of it on hold until Friday. Of course the dealership can't hold my check for a week while I drive off in the Tacoma (I don't blame them a bit). This is after asking the credit union multiple times in the last two weeks about check clearing times once they're deposited. So after going partway through the delivery process I put the plates back on my beater trade-in and prepared to head home. I took a picture of the truck peering out from the delivery bay as I drove away, sorry buddy, maybe next time:

Then this afternoon I get an email from the insurance company, it seems the credit union mailed them a lien release and not a title. When asked about the title they said I probably had it. This is the 3rd time they've lost the title to my truck! I'll be having a nice visit with them tomorrow. Just pissed.

You can see I choose the 2013, I'll fill in a little more of the thinking behind my decision once I actually get the truck.
