    So after about 1000 miles on my new lift I started feeling a light shake at 40 mph and then at around 70 I would get another vibration that felt like it was coming from the rear end like something was just about to break free. After checking my driveshaft angles I realized I needed to do a cb drop. My 3rd member and rear driveshaft and was .01* which is good but my first to second driveshaft angle was 3.4* difference. I attempted to do a cb drop with some washers but only got it down to about a 2.8* difference and left it at that bc it was better than before. Now about 70 miles later I have a driveline squeak and it's happening more the more I drive it. And I've heard what sounds like a clunk a few times recently. And the sound really only come around during takeoff then go away
    I've been doing my research and I'm pretty sure it the first ujoint but it doesn't have any play in it but there is this weird oil Mark above my u joint. 20180529_204101.jpg
    Could this be from my cb angle be causing this or is my ujoint just going bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Sounds like a ujoint on its way out.

    Ive had them cause vibes, rotational squeaking noise during take off that goes away whenever you get over about 15-20 mph, and even loud popping noises when going uphill and under load.

    Looks like you could use a driveline spacer and a fresh driveshaft rebuild by the looks of your front u joint

    If youre going to go thru the trouble to pull the driveshaft, replace all 3

    Looks like the carrier bearing is on its way out considering the splatter above it on the under carriage.

    Thats the ujoint closest to the transmission output shaft (in the picture above). My guess is that the splatter is grease.

    OP, i would start by replacing the u joints. I have 236k on my original carrier bearing, but the truck has eaten through at least three sets of ujoints. From my experience, its much less common for the carrier bearing to be bad

    I have more experience than i want to regarding this, u joints have been truly a pita with my truck.. it really eats them for lunch:blahblah:

    after i got shafted at the dealer replacing them once, just to have them go bad again 50k later, i started just doing them myself.. not a particularly fun job, but a simple one nonetheless

    That splatter is just grease from u joint. Try greasing them and check for play.

    Your truck may or may not have greaseable zerks on your ujoints from the factory. My dads dcsb prerunner has them, where as my access cab came with the sealed units that arent greaseable..

    I replaced mine with the spicer 5-1330-1x that are greasable, so if you do tackle the job, be sure and get some of those if yours arent greasable. They last longer if you keep em lubed up every oil change.

    I have the driveshaft recall paper at home so I'm gonna see if I can get Toyota to replace them all for free. From what I read some members have been able to get them all replaced. If not then I'll replace all three myself.
    I was thinking a driveline spacer might be needed after I did the cb drop.

    Mine don't have feel fitting sadly but if I do end up replacing them myself I'll definitely be getting ones with them

    You could try getting the unjoints replaced per the tsb since it’s free. Just keep in mind they may only do the ones that that actually need replacing.

    I had vibrations after my lift. Tried the carrier bearing drop, axle shims, a different oem driveshaft, and got no results. Ended up getting a custom 1 piece driveshaft made and it drives awesome.

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    I just replaced all 3 U joints and the center bearing two weeks ago. I had the squeaks from the middle U joint and the clunking from the center bearing on take off.

    If you replace one U joint, do all three. And while you have it down do the center bearing as well. There are several very helpful threads on here about both.

    That first picture looks like the U joint is toast. On the secon picture, it looks like the center bearing has moved, due to the washer marks on the bearing frame.
