    Greetings from Southwest Oklahoma!

    I am looking forward to many years of engaging discussion here in TacomaWorld. Thanks in advance for all of the warm welcomes and helpful hacks that will positively enhance my Taco owning experience.

    The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind for me. After nearly two years of driving a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and previously having been a lifetime Nissan truck owner (4+ vehicles since 1994), I have taken the plunge and have put money down on a 2019 Silver TRD Off-Road 4X4. I will likely make the three hour drive this coming Tuesday to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to pick it up and drive it back home the following day.

    I don't know what I plan to do with it from a mods standpoint, other than to put a couple of OEM accessories, bed mat, bed cover, and LED light bar, but I suspect that I will be inspired by more than a few members in the forum to have fun and make prudent upgrades as needed.

    Again, thanks for letting me hang out with you good folks. Photos to come, and adventures to chronicle in due course. See you all on the hardball, the dirt trails, or wherever Tacos are known to roam. ;-)

    Again, thanks for the warm welcome to TW!

    As previously mentioned, I have taken delivery of my Silver Off-Road 4X4 Short Bed and have added a BakFlip MX4 cover to the mix.

    Still working on the Accessories Box (I am giving it the unoriginal title of ‘Taco fixings’), but I hope to make smart minimalistic choices to fill it out.

    Any recommendations for “must have” tools would be greatly appreciated.

    nice looking truck, man! I am looking to buy in the next few months myself after relocating from NYC back to FL. I had a 2000 Pre Runner in millennium silver and thought it would be fun to get this year's version of the silver vehicle for continuity.

    I like the blackout badging. Very cool!

    Thanks! I had once considered de-badging it, but it doesn't really hurt anything leaving it on.

    The Pre-Runners of old were pretty decent trucks in their own right, and if one were to become available at a reasonable price, I would certainly jump on it as a possible bug-in vehicle at my remote site.

    Silver is a great color, IMHO, and it breaks up the sea of black, white, and gray Tacos roaming the wilds. ;-)
