Yet another suspension question...

Before anyone asks, I've looked and read through quite a few threads and can't quite seem to get a steady answer. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I have a 2008 Tacoma TRD w/ off-road and towing package. I'm looking for the stock height (as in no lift) etc. Everything I've read on here suggests Bilstein B6 4600 for read - is that correct? The front is where it gets a bit tricky - would KYB SR4464 Strut-Plus be a drop-in, OEM type replacement? Rock Auto states its for Pre-Runner w/ TRD but doesn't specify sport vs off-road.

My stock units have almost 150K on them and it's about time, although there is very little bounce when doing the bounce test. Thanks again!

 

It should work just fine.
The Pre-Runner TRD used the same Bilstein shocks as the 4WD trucks.
KYB has been around forever. They make decent stuff.

I prefer Bilstein myself. But they don't come as a package with spring and assembled.
If you are wanting a drop-in package, the KYB will be fine.

 

BTW, there is a Left and Right, so make sure you order each.
Don't order 2 of the same set up.
