Yet another TPMS question...

I bought some FJ steel rims to run another set of tires. After much searching and reading I decided to buy the Autel TPMS"s and the scan tool to clone the ID'S. So I put the rims on the truck today figuring I'd deal with the light on until I could get the scanner here next week. The thing is the light isn't on. WTF....

 

Do you think your original wheels are close by enough to keep the light out. Seems too obvious, but Only easily fixable explanation i can think of …. Have heard keeping them in the bed would be enough.

 

IIRC you have to drive a certain mileage with no signal before the light fires off.
