    Anyone seen my wallet?
Both mine and an ozark were pre chilled. We left the same time to head out of town as we caravanned, ozark in back seat, my rtic was in the open bed. Friday around 6 am, i about 3/4 bag of ice in mine, kept 1/4 in the bag to use for cocktails.

Mine stayed in the bed all day friday and saturday, his stayed in the shade. By late saturday i still had ice in my bag, the ozark was completey out of ice.

Thats just over 1.5 days, ozark didnt keep an ounce of ice, mine kept 10 lbs easily.

Take that fwiw, id skip the cooler but you may have better luck.

I agree. I can't justify a cooler over $200 I like more useful things like guns. Maybe maluna will do group buy... @ramonortiz55 set it up

The cabelas one is nice. I feel like I paid too much but needed/wanted something good with only a few days before taking a trip. RTIC 65 was around 130 when I bought and the cabelas as a last minute purchase was 250... Since they perform the same the RTIC was a much better purchase but I wasnt in a rush when I purchased it.

Ha, why would it tip over I ask. Mine is strapped into the access area behind the drivers seat. 1" strap attached to the handles and the hooks that the jump seat was bolted to. It's not going anywhere.
I can never understand the Yeti fad.

    EDIT:
The more I think about it ...
The way I have to pull the lid off I suspect it wouldn't spill if it tipped over. I might need to try that. I had 20 pounds of ice in it in North Georgia a few years ago. 5 days later I had half the ice still there. Opened and closed it as it was my only cooler.
My Coleman is made in the USA.

Yes, I thought it to be pretty nice. As for the material on the outside, appears to be tough as nails. As for the ice down, that will have to wait a week or so when I head to the coast. I'm not much for the "ice down" and timing test. If the cooler performs well, I'll know. I must have a dozen or more coolers, but none that would be classed as one of the "high performance" models, so believe me, if it performs well, I'll know.
