image.jpg Ozark Trail tumblers back in stock. Only 8 bucks and they went toe to to with yeti on every test.

Went ahead and stocked up. Got 6 for the price of 1 yeti. Figured some of you guys might like to know about this

It wouldn't surprise me if they were made by the same company. IIRC Yeti sold themselves to some equity firm and sent some of the manufacturing to China. Who knows, they may be made side by side.

Bought 32 of these when I found them in store for the first time since hearing about them... Figure I'll sell them on Ebay and make a little money. I read that Yeti has sued Walmart for the identical replica and were unlikely to see the stock get replenished.

So, not being a dick (well at least not more than usual) but what is the point of the Yeti Tumbler? It seems people are buying these because they are associated with the $400+ coolers, Is it worth the $30 price tag? What do you guys drink out of it?

Sold out everywhere around me in SC and parents in FL. But my parents actually buy yeti, I refuse.

They are vacuum sealed so, no air in the gap between inside and outside. No air means no heat transfer so they keep things both cold and hot for a very, very long time.

Some will argue until they're blue in the face that they're magical.

I have one. I also got a free, black plastic Toyota travel tumbler that I gave to @tacomgee, and either it was fucking incredible or the Yeti was underwhelming.

They both held the same general temp for the same amount of time, and both made in China.

Easier to clean than the Tervis lid I have and the lid on my Bubba coffee mug.

I did buy an RTIC that should be here at the end of the month. It was almost painful spending that money. In the meantime I use a $50 Coleman Marine Extreme 70 qt cooler, does just fine and usually keeps ice for 3-6 days.

I have had a hydro flask bottle for a few years. Keeps my coffee hot all day. I couldn't justify the price of the yeti. I have not heard of the other ones though.
