It would appear you don't have a TRD anything....You're missing the inverter switch which is on the "TRD Sport" (that came with a LSD for the first couple years, but never a locker) and "TRD Offroad".

Just get an ARB Air Locker if you need a locker.

FWIW I have a '14 4x4 v6 non-TRD Off-Road non-Sport SR5 model without the e-locker or ATRAC in grey. The only visible difference is no e-locker switch in the cab and no bed-mounted power. Mine does have the electronic LSD though.

I have no stickers on the sides of the bed where most TRD Off-Road stickers sit and the steel wheels.

Not sure why this post makes me this sad. Sucks that you got swindled but as others said, just add a locker. You will end up with a better one. No outlet in the bed either. I think I have used that exactly 0 times so far. Then again, I crawl around malls. With the $3k you said you saved, buy the locker, take off the stickers and enjoy your truck.

My 14 definitely has a locker.

    Look for outlet in bed.

Does your passenger side seat fold flat? If so definitely not a trd as it deletes that option.

    Sounds like you got taken.

Actually looking at your pics you are missing the 110 outlet switch. Definitely not a trd,

thanks for all the posts everyone.

My take: yes, I got taken. time to move on!

Tires this week, lift in a few, then locker in the spring.

@CJ Taco Was your truck advertised as a TRD off road?

There are plenty of other differences with the TRD package including way more comfortable seats and I believe towing package upgrades. I've never had the non-TRD and I know the american packages differ from CND ones.

You have a legit reason to request a partial refund whether from a dealer or private vendor, then file a small claims suit if they blow you off. There may be statue of limitations depending on date of purchase and such.

I've read, repeatedly, that the non e-locker rear end is stronger. Get the ARB and you'll be better off!

Was it represented as a trd off road? Have proof? Small claims court if so. Ask for the difference between an OR and non no matter what deal you already got - if it was represented as one.

Thats fraud. Report them to the local newspaper. We have a dealer here that pisses(not a typo) on their competitors cars. They actually made it onto americas dumbest criminals. And the scary thing is, they are still in business!!!

is that e locker only on the 4x4 trd models? sport and offroad? I'm guessing since you wouldn't need one in a prerunner?! right. dumb question. but don't know a lot about 4x4

It's not on the TRD Sport, but it is on both 2 and 4 wheel drive TRD Offroads.

One can never have too many light bars.
My neighbor also has a hood scoop and color matched grill with the TRD off road stickers and it's okay because he like it that way. But it's one thing to customize it to your liking but actually selling to another person is complete bullshit and technically fraud.
