Anybody tried this size? 285/65/17. Comes out to a 31.6 inch tire. Any thoughts? Thanks...

I have this tire in a 265 70 16. You will like them alot. Excellent AT tread, and super quiet on the highway.

    The usual toyota parts..
I just purchased my second set of these in 31x10.50x15. Overall it's a really good tire. Does get loud when it wears down and I had an issue with the sidewalls feeling spongy so I upped the pressure to 37-38 lbs and it helped greatly. I got 68k miles out of my last set, rotated every 5k.

Is the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S the same as the Yokohama G012?

1st set (285/75/16) bought back in 2009, put 83K on them rotated every 5-10K (didn't pay too much attention).. when it was time for the new set couple months ago, I really almost went BF all terrains because they "look " so much better, and I did have a 33" set on a 1994 Daddy Taco and loved them... but broke down and got the 2nd Yoko set because:

    1. super quiet
    2. what ever I put them through, MI snow/ice/mud playing or AZ tire tearing rocks, tires performed flawlessly.
    3. even when worn, they remained quiet and grippy, but harsh.
    4. Any tire that can withstand several slams of Detroit potholes so bad that blew a fairly new Billy 5100, is a great tire.

but The BFs still look better...
