    Unplanned Mod #2

Andres had some surplus left over from his April run, so I picked one up!

Install was a breeze. The plastic Yota emblem snaps right out, and the devil horns (perfect fit) are fastened in place with four allen head machine screws (included) through the stock holes.

    +10 HP!!!

Cruising the threads and came upon this:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n.../290086-fs-cvrv-mirror-riser-new-product.html

Got to talking with Tom (Tbird), and they needed a hand researching the convenience mirrors with the back-up camera screens. For my services they cut me a good deal and sent the bracket out with a RAM ball!

I disassembled the two plastic covers, unplugged the connector, and removed the mirror. In order to make it work you have to trim the top section off of the "dovetailed" mirror base that has the attachment piece for the electrical connector. I showed my cuts in red:

Then I filed the cuts smooth:

After that the bracket goes in where the mirror was mounted. Tighten it using the supplied set screw, and then attach your mirror. Tighten the mirror using the oem screw. Reconnect the wiring. And at this point if you have the RAM ball attach it using two 1/4" 10-24 machine screws (not supplied).

I'm almost 6' tall, and I had no idea how much visibility was lost due to the rear-view mirror. I love having it moved!

No point showing any pictures, just letting all you sticky-fingered fuckers know that my rear window is secure. Bar fits in perfectly, fit and finish are great.

I'm very happy to have more contact with the lugs and the threads running these Pro Comp wheels.

I just sold my 07 dcsb and picked up a 10 LB so starting all over again and finding a lot of inspiration here.
Great build Chris! I'm nearly ready to order up some OME stuff as well. I'm surprised your 886s sagged that much.

Dunno how I didn't see your post :notsure: Thanks! Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the amount of sag, a lot of guys wouldn't have minded, but I didn't really want too much rake.

If you've never run OME before you're going to really like it. Turns a Tacoma back into a truck without sacrificing ride quality.

Saving space for Light Racing UCA install write-up...

And now I can't find all the pictures I took. SMH.
