Hit the back roads the other day and did some wheeling btw sorry for not updating for a while a lot has changed on the yota since

 

How my Truck sits today lots been changed since i last posted
new wheels
new Tires 33/12.5/15 Kevlars
plate bumper from Nw Trail Innovations

 

I saw some pics of that bumper being built on your instagram page , looks sick man

So i know i havnt really posted me building anything so here are some photos
of my awesome North West Trail Innovations kit bumper build enjoy



Had to cut the frame back for 97-00 years



everything including outers getting fitted up and tacked together



Took the bumper off and started some more work on it fully welding it together



Fully welded just needed paint



Mine and a buddies truck at Work



All finished up with the rino lining

Hey man I just put same tires on a couple days ago. What wheels you running?

 

I am running 8" unique wheels with 1.25 wheel spacers

 

Where you get them from. Got any pics?

 

I got wheels and tires from americas tire

 

Installed my Lights and Cb today note the Cb has been broke more then twice haha

 

Looks great man

 

all of them seem to like to park next to me

 

thanks dude i love your truck but i cant imagine wheeling a black truck haha

so this happened today

Update back to about a week ago, I had been having a weird clicking noise
going on in the front of my Taco. Did some research and all were telling me that it was a cv axle going out. so tore both sides apart like i have many times before
but couldnt find anything wrong so thats when i get really stumped



So with not know what that noise was i put it all back together and what happened a couple nights later shocked me



Yes i know it kinda jumped to it being torn apart again sorry if i find pictures when it happened ill post em



hmmm that doesnt look good


Luckily at home i had a spare set of spider teeth and that the ring gear and pinion gear both
got out without any damage


after a day of thrashin on this damn thing we finally had all the parts swapped over and ready to put in the truck

 

got it done just in time for my winchester bay. little nervous but super stoked

So I have been away for a while but i got some eye candy for you guys
been hard at work on Taco and shes coming together real nice got my new lightbar and my down to the wire offroad sliders and baja rack helped weld them together
and im very happy with the turnout

 

How do you like the bumper?

 

I love it I am glad i bought this one instead of a tube bumper
