Ya seems like a easy and cheap way to get some more clearance. I have just heard such hate on body lifts so I'm going to do some research....those icons though! Love em. That's what I want to put on mine. I'm running the adjustable Billys right now but I want a little more lift.

The 1 inch body lifts are awesome. Especially if you ever have to separate the motor and trans. Those bolts are impossible to reach without the body lift.

I think the icons or any C/O are a great option if you plan on keeping your truck for a long time. If not then the Billys or OME lifts are great too

Any cons to them at all? Does if affect the ride quality? I heard they can give body roll? I do like the idea of getting a little more lift with no affects on angles/cv's etc.

People use them mainly to clear bigger tires. 1" is about as high as you want with body spacers

Thanks josh! I could use some help there with the rubbing but also just love the look of a little more lift but I don't want to mess with changing cv's angles and such even more. From the little research I have done though I have heard body lift can create some ride issues like body roll? Also hope you don't mind @YotaBoater that I am asking this stuff and BS'N on your build thread page.

Absolutely not man! Ask away. The 1" hasn't really effected the body roll on my truck much. I agree that 1" is about all I would do if you plan on going off road and doing anything with steep angles

Love the truck man I literally just ordered tube doors for mine and getting ready to do a full suspension rebuild... Turns out 300,000 miles isn't good for suspension parts
Quick question... Could you specify which icon lift you got for up front? And why did you choose to do the uca's?
    Thanks in advance!!

    Thank you

I would say you are in need for sure! Tube doors are awesome btw.

I have extended travel icon coil overs with 700lb springs and icon's tubular UCA with the caps on. I chose to have UCAs because I wanted the most travel and a true alignment. So far they have been great.

For the rear I have wheelers offroad progressive leaf pack and icon smoothy shocks.

Got it all tacked up and just finished bending up some more tube for steps. I hope it turns out good. Should be done tomorrow.

I like that plate under tailgate looks clean. If you had the bottom of your bed/body painted black(like my truck in avatar) I'd say leave the plate, but imo I think color matched be on point

Thanks man. I am not quite done yet. I am adding some gussets and a step on both sides. I have a plan but I ran out of time today. And it was raining.
