Well the first 2 were AT. My newest taco is a MT. Maybe that's the reason this one is worse. Maybe the slush box dampened it alittle...

Well... the weirdest thing... unhooked the battery overnight, charged it with morning with Duralast Charger, kept trying to Force Flash and kept failing, then decided... why not, tried to flash the Stryker tune again... and it worked! Huh... could've sworn if the first install failed, to force flash.

Well, thanks everyone for the assist and going off to enjoy the tune!

    I'll take it. Enjoy!

Edit: the fix you described is a fix for the soft-bricking scenario described in the tune guide, but the circumstances don't match up. How odd.

    Glad it worked out.

I’m definitely liking what I see with Yotawerkz and their tuning options.

so what is the total gain we are seeing from their time vs the Magnuson stock tune? Big difference in stock vs 90mm vs 87mm pulleys??

Stock to supercharged is a sort of different type of comparison, the Magnuson tune to YW Stryker tune is more apples to apples, but stock to Stryker, if you accept the different conditions they were run under (varied weather and truck mods such as tires/wheels, different dyno's, different fuel octanes from different sources) and take the stock 238whp/236wtq from the Blackhawk Premium fuel dyno day and put it against the Stryker 90mm pulley tune (306whp/311wtq), you get a 68whp/75wtq gain.

These are just peak numbers at higher rpm though, and regardless of whether or not they're considered impressive they do not represent the sum total benefit of a tune, such as the significant difference in low to mid rpm power we provide for both our NA and FI tunes, at both WOT and partial throttle.

No worries! There’s a ton of information buried in these forums. Heavy-hitters like @mZiggy usually update the first post with all the latest stuff.

Now, if you’re on the fence about the YW tune, it’s well worth it. The Maggy tune used Toyota’s original shift logic and it was a hot mess if you romped on the throttle. You had to smoothly roll into the gas to keep the right gear when accelerating. ECT would help a little but it was still super wonky when WOT.

I just went to the YW FI tune yesterday and I’ll echo what’s been said, it ROCKS! Smooth, logical shifting with steady, predictable power mean that you can properly use the S/c you paid $7k for... nice work by all involved!
