    That's in the works, yes.

    @su.b.rat and @MOC221_ are among the list of testers and it's been going really well.

    I'd really hoped to release the updated NA tunes awhile back but I inevitably found a few rabbit holes to dive down...

    Dyno sessions scheduled for the YotaWerx 90mm pulley supercharger tune, for next week. Booked for next Saturday.

    If this tune is released specifically for the 90mm pulley, will those of us running the 87 need to switch back? Or will there be a specific variant for the 87?

    There will be a specific 87mm pulley tune but I want to spend just a little more time on it after releasing the 90mm tune, just to see if there's anything else I can pull out of it. At any rate, dyno runs with one of our 87mm testers will need to get scheduled.

    From what I hear, swapping the pulleys goes pretty easily and quickly.

    There are currently 10 people running around as testers on the YotaWerx tune, and 3 of them have the 87mm pulley installed.

    And then of those 3 for dyno runs, one is high up in elevation so, sea level runs would be ideal.

    From there, really just a matter of scheduling the dyno.

    The 87mm tune isn't several months off behind the 90 either, that shouldn't be anyone's concern. It's nearly completed too.

    @Double Down has been running it at 6k ft elevation for instance

    It’s a piece of cake. So if I want to run the 87 should I hold off on the 90 tune? Or will I be able to swap out when the 87 is ready? Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. I’m just excited is all.

    I would match the pulley to the tune that you'd like to run. Is that what you're asking?

    Maybe the question is if there's a charge associated with changing from the 90mm to 87mm tune would it be smarter to hold off until the 87 is released.

    At least that's a question I have.

    It's still being decided if the purchase price will include both the 90mm and 87mm tunes, or if there will be a small additional charge for including the 87mm tune. (Double digits, not triple, estimated $20-50 range). Pricing discussion hasn't really been something that we've sat down and gone over thoroughly yet, and that will happen following the dyno. An announcement will be made with a scheduled release date a week or two out to give me time to build the tune for the several ecu versions that are out there. Luckily there's already several different testers with different ECU versions, so some of those will go quickly.

    Tunes will be made available in gearlock enabled and non-gearlock versions. You'll get both up front, no need to request it specifically.

    Modifications for things like tires and gears and AGM settings will be made available upon request.

    Updates made to the tune, especially with new tools coming to VFTuner, will be made available to existing customers for free. That has been YW's policy for a long time.

    I don't have a problem paying a small fee for the 87mm tune. I highly doubt your a 501(c) non-profit organization.

    Yeah. I have both pulleys and would pay a small fee to have a tune to go with each.

    Yesterday, @virginiamarine ran two YotaWerx 90mm pulley supercharger tunes on a dyno local to him.

    *Caveat, per @virginiamarine , "...the dyno is brand new and the shop said it still needs breaking in so the HP shows lower than it really is."

    "They estimated it could be a 10% loss but didn't have anything firm to back it up like dyno literature."

    This estimate represents as much as a theoretical 29hp difference, but this is all purely speculation.

    These runs were done with an ambient temperature in the low 60's, °F.

    See below:

    TUNE 703.jpg

    TUNE 704.jpg

    There is another dyno session scheduled for tomorrow by another tune tester in another location; ambient temperatures are forecast to be in the mid-to-high-70's to low-80's.

    Tomorrow's tunes to run will be similar to these, although a bit more power has been added down in the 2800-4000rpm range, hopefully that will be reflected on the dynographs.

    Today, @SK808 ran his Magnuson supercharged 3GTacoma with the 90mm pulley on the dyno down in Hawaii!

    We made further revisions following Thursday's dyno runs and chose a file to run today.

    Vehicle and climate details:
    - tire size is 295/70/17 MT's
    - snorkel which can present some airflow restriction; this one has been gutted where the snorkel has an inherent restriction due to design shortly after entering the fender
    - ambient temperature: 85°F (approximately 25° warmer than Thursday's dyno runs)

    Dynograph below; the red run is the Magnuson supercharger tune for the 90mm pulley. The blue and green runs are the YotaWerx tune.

    In total, the dynograph demonstrates a 17whp/23wtq gain for the YotaWerx 3GT SC tune, as well as significant improvement throughout the entire powerband.

    Since October2021, we have been working hard with many testers across several climates and elevations over the past 7 months to refine this tune and bring the community something that excels in drivability while providing power, usable power, that enhances all aspects of the driving experience. Having the highest power number means nothing if the drivability suffers.

    HUGE shout out of appreciation to all of our testers, some of which will continue working with us as we turn our attention more fully to the 87mm pulley tune:

    @hcenteno21
    @4x4rich89
    @Doostur
    @virginiamarine
    @ [tester not known to us via TW, reached out via social media]

    These guys spent months working around their personal schedules, using their own trucks, spending their own money on fuel, even covering dyno costs despite not needing to do so themselves, several of them doing datalogs on 2-3 tunes EVERY SINGLE DAY.

    Over the course of this project, we probably received the same number or more additional offers by others to assist with testing and providing feedback, and I'd like to say that the support received from the community for this has been outstanding. Thank you all!

    The red is the Magnuson tune, and the blue and green is the YotaWerx tune that we chose to run.

    There's a ton of data out there from various people running the Maggy tune, so we really only needed the one run to establish a benchmark for the graph. Since 3 runs were paid for, we used the other two for the same YW tune, back to back.

    What is up with that dip on the maggy tune right around 3850 rpm. I can feel that when driving and thought there was something wrong, I guess its not just my truck. It feels like a slight dead spot and then a surge of power. It happens so close to the shift point sometimes that I was wondering if something was wrong with my clutch. It looks like your tune smooths that out substantially. Very nice to see.
