Don't temp me! Now that I’ve tasted better performance, I’ll be desperately searching for new highs.

Put in a set of the NGK DILFR7K9G plugs yesterday in preparation for the 87mm pulley tune. These plugs come gapped at .036 and I regapped them to .029.

Wasn't too bad of a job took about an hour. Rear driver plug was the worst as far as getting access. They really put the clutch line in a bad spot.

Running the regular Stryker 90mm tune which has been excelent. Here are the stock plugs which had 23,200 miles on them (supercharged since 17,400 miles)

those plugs look pretty good = better than my oem NA plugs did when I put in the SC at 48K and replaced them with new oem plugs. Cooler plugs will be on my winter maintenance list. keep us posted on how they perform and or any measurable performance outcomes (power, mpg,...)

About 250 miles with stryker+. Still getting used, specially 1st gear. So far I like it.
Plan to pull a trailer (3,500 lbs) 200 miles each way this weekend.

@mZiggy This may have been a question asked and answered but I noticed that the 2nd gen (2005–2015) tacoma's have the 1GR-FE with the(GRN225/245/250/265/270) Variant, and the 5th gen 4runners have the 1GR-FE with the (GRN280/285) variant........is this why a tune can be put into the 5th gen TR4 and not the 2nd Gen tacoma? I know they are the same engine but what is the difference in the Variant models? It just sucks that the 2nd gen tacomas can't get a tune.....or can they?

Hello, the 2GTacoma can be tuned. We just haven't prioritized it due to other projects we were working on, but it's currently underway and coming

Please keep me updated if and when it comes out. It is also going to suck to try to get it since I live in New England
