Did you have remove the air intake and/or Maggy coolant reservoir to access the passenger side coils?

I switched to colder spark plugs this weekend and also added the 87mm pulley and loaded the 87 tune.

The whole thing took me about 2-2.5 hours at a relaxed pace with neighbors coming over to chat every now and then.

The spark plug process was pretty easy. I could've cut about 20 minutes to the whole process if I started using a pick to get the connectors off the coils a little sooner. Some of the connectors were a little stubborn and the pick made it a breeze. A little less space on the driver side to get your hands through but still manageable.

The 87mm pulley swap took about 10 minutes, pretty painless process.

As far as the tune goes, I loaded the Stryker since that's what I was running with the 90mm pulley and I wanted to get a fair comparison. The difference between 87 and 90 is quite REMARKABLE!, especially at altitude. If you're on stock or close to stock weight and not at altitude, the 90mm performance might be sufficient. I have some weight and at altitude the performance of the 90mm definitely suffered. Still great overall and much better than no SC or SC with Magnuson tune. But the 87mm makes the truck move like the weight is not even there and it doesn't struggle at altitude.

I've been thinking lately of different options to reduce some weight in order to gain some performance back, but now with the 87mm pulley performance I don't have to think about it anymore. I can keep what I have and still have a very responsive truck.

bring it by so I can compare (if you are still near). :jpow: might convince me to go to the 87mm - presume no fuel rail mod on your machine?

Told you the 87 pulley and tune would be worth it…especially at altitude with our heavy trucks!

Love my 87mm pulley and Stryker+ tune, thanks @mZiggy!!

True - was always cautious about fueling. Looks like that is not an issue. I need to do the "seat of the pants" test before I move from Heaven to Nirvana!

Yes no fuel rail upgrade. You're welcome to test anytime. I'm in the Co. Springs.

No doubt! Now I'm like 87 or nothing. Lol.

I'm going to run the Stryker for a bit and then switch to Stryker+ to see how it performs. I don't feel like throttle response is an issue but I'll have to test it out at the very least.

I have been running the 87mm pulley with the new tune for a few weeks now. Not only is there significantly more power the drivability is greatly improved as well.

@mZiggy what is the location in Santa Ana? I think I’m going to go there to get my truck flashed.
Also, which 87mm pulley wheel should I get?

Our Santa Ana tuner is currently onboarding and is not yet taking customers.

See below for part number on the 87mm pulley, should be the correct one if I'm not mistaken:

@mZiggy ok, so I’m going to order the tube from you then, what do I need besides the taxtrix cable and laptop? I originally downloaded the ovtune onto it as well as a tune from ovtune for my truck before it had the SC. I never got it to install and went to a shop that performed the flash. Then I got the supercharger, and the dealer flashed the magnuson tune on and gave me the cable that came with the kit.
