I think Magnuson has a version 8, but don't quote me on that.

We've been working on a big update ourselves, to our MagSC Stryker tune; it's been going really well.

i mean, we haven't hidden the fact that we're working on an update. Testers are free to discuss their thoughts on what they've experienced with various test tunes so far

Finally got some miles (50) on my new Taco today running the Blackhawk on 87 octane. Very good! Holds onto gears alittle longer before shifting so it doesn't have to hunt. Low end torque is great. Smooth and consistent accelerating thru the revs. No WOT pulls yet but it's making the AT likable. Looking forward to burning thru this first tank of Reg fuel so I can try out the Premium fuel tune. Thanks @mZiggy and @tonered for getting me taken care of this weekend! #tunealltacos

Anytime bud! So happy to help you out anyway I can. I don't care what anyone says, YotaWerx is hands down the BEST bang for your buck mod there is for a Tacoma.

I just had to update my magnuson tune 2 days ago due to updating my tsb and it was version 8.

Looking forward to buying the Stryker tune soon!

You're in for a treat, my man! The Stryker tune for the Maggie is almost unreal. The way it pulls is just fantastic. Complete night and day difference from what Magnuson provides. Granted, I only ever ran the V7, so I've never ran the V8 that you mentioned, but I don't think I need to. lmao.

Just a little something being cooked up over here at YotaWerx for the 3.5L 3GTacoma NA, for the in-development Blackhawk 2.0 tune update.

Plenty of work still remaining, including further smoothing on that torque dip you see, and ensuring that power numbers like these do not negatively impact drivability.

Btw I sent an email to Magnuson today to ask about the V8 of their tune. They said the guy that builds the tunes is out for the rest of the week. Single point of failure for something is terrible business planning. Lol

It most certainly is! What TSB are you running? I have 04B82. If your's is the same I can email you the v8 calibration file if you would like.

Edit: I am NOT on that ECU ID. Lol. But it's ok, I don't need it really. Just want it for archival purposes. There's no way it's better than @mZiggy 's tune
