I’m going to copy and paste a part of the email that I sent to Marc today. I have been fortunate to be able to try out a prerelease version of Blackhawk 2.0. I’ve purchased the “big three” of the tunes from their makers and flash them myself. Going back and forth between them for at least a few days at a time to compare them every once in a while I’ve always preferred Blackhawk.

I’m used to the AD tune for premium fuel.
Off the line, when starting out at a stop sign or red light the truck seems much more quick. I really like that.
When around 35, 45 or 55 mph, I do need to give it more throttle than AD for the truck to shift down more than one gear to accelerate quicker when needed. That can be a good or bad thing depending on the person driving and their personal preference and style, though.
This tune feels like a mixture of DD and AD, with a bit more punch on the take off than either of them, which I like.
I’m sure the truck will change in behavior over some time, since I just flashed the tune and don’t have a lot of miles on it yet.
I like it. I’ll stay on this one until it’s updated again.

Right on, looking forward to 2.0! Still plenty happy with the OG Blackhawk.

I really like this tune. Seeing your profile picture, you obviously have a bike. I got rid of the ones I had years ago, but you know that feeling you get when you just look at that thing and get that itchy feeling and you just want to get on it and go? That's how this tune has made the truck for me. Even if it's to nowhere and just for the ride, I just want to drive this truck now and look forward to doing it.

I know that feeling well! Unfortunately, I think I may be selling the bike in the near future and hanging the leathers up for a bit. Chalk it up to family planning / partner's wishes.

That’s the same exact reason I got rid of mine. They are a lot of fun, but it just seems like it’s getting more and more dangerous out there.

    appreciate the support!

Since you have the 6MT and if you have a VFTuner flash kit yourself and would like to play around on the pre-release of BH2.0, send us an email please.

I rode for awhile, had a ninja650, nice torquey bike. Had a ton of fun but eventually I became uncomfortable with how many times I could count almost having been killed by negligent drivers...

I really am overdue to sell my helmet and gear lol

Same here. You know my job, I see it every few weeks or so. There’s still one spot with parts of a GSX-R on the side of the road by a stop light from a month ago. That one was a bad one.

Could I get a test file as well for the 6MT?

Been a long time since I checked in here and find this gem. I have a 0B14 6MT and would be glad to test it out for you.

I had a chance to test the beta today. It’s a great tune. Can’t wait for the actual release. Crisp and precise throttle, no dead pedal at all. Shifting is very smooth. Sometimes I don’t even noticed when it downshifts from 6th to 5th. One thing that I did notice and hope it gets ironed out is on the highway cruising, even when a little extra throttle is applied it wants to downshift. If it could just hold 6th with more input!
