Put about 200 miles on it today. I’m getting over 2mpg better than other tunes I’ve run. I’m around 19mpg right now. Before I’d be lucky to get over 16.5mpg

 

I dont get why would need to hold 6th longer. I was bugging them to fix 6-5 shift points. 6th is useless..
I call it a progress.

 

I’m not trying to be super critical, but even if you breathe on the throttle while in 6th or hit a small bump and the throttle moves in a mm it will downshift.

 

Well, it's a test tune, so this will be addressed before release. Appreciate the feedback on this.

 

After this sudden change to colder weather, I decided to change the tune so it's not as touchy with the throttle. I went from AD premium, to the beta and then back to AD premium because of the throttle response and now back to the beta again. The beta isn't as touchy and will be useful when this rainy weather and then the snow and ice come. Stock truck, so AD premium was like the truck got a turbo boost feeling to it. I'll be back to that more aggressive throttle when spring is back again.

 

Would like another tune please.

 

Received your email regarding your additional Tacoma, will get to that ASAP as we're currently out at Texas Overland Festival.

 

After four or so tanks of fuel, this is easily the best tune. And I’ve had 5 different tunes on this truck.

Responsiveness is incredible. Absolutely zero dead pedal. Smooth shifts. MPGs are better. Holds gears well.

Can’t wait for the new version.

 

Once again, over the past couple weeks, I tried out the updated tunes from the others since I can flash them myself to compare. Definitely the best tune out there. I went from the beta back to the AD version. I love how responsive it is. Staying with this for now. That is, until there is another update
You can easily baby the pedal if needed and be sure the truck won't jump forward on you. Even on AD, no worries about the coming rain and snow for me. I have this YotaWerx Tuning sticker here. I really want to put that on my truck, but am afraid of what the dealer may say when I take it in for my free maintenance and oil changes that I have left. Until they run out or I come up with a different place for it, I'll just have to sit and admire it for now

I wouldn't worry about the sticker, personally. Lol For all they know, you just like the pretty colors, or purchased one of our other merch items and the sticker was included.

I was thinking on the way home tonight (which can sometimes get me into trouble, but not in this case). I've been fortunate to be able to have the version 2 beta file sent to me, so I think it would be irresponsible to not be running that tune on my truck and letting you know of any quirks I may notice. Doing that is the reason you sent the file my way and to others in the first place. So, until I get a different one to try or if this is basically the final version or very close to it, I will stick with this tune until further notice. Thanks again for the opportunity to be running this tune, I appreciate it.

Is there a way to get a beta of yours? That oruginal and 1sr update BH tune never met my expectations in a few areas.
