Hoping to get my truck flashed to the 2.0 ⚫️ tomorrow. What's the "fix" for the bucking throttle I'm reading about?

I may be wrong but don't you have a manual transmission? Those had no issues.

For the automatic, we're in the midst of rebuilding our entire library of BH2.0 tunes. VFTuner released a software definitions package update the other day and oddly, simply rebuilding the file after updating resolved issues on a customer. We also found a corrupted table that never gets edited in the first place. So we're going through and rebuilding the entire file set for all of the 6AT ECUs that we support, which takes quite a bit of time.

Hmm. A corrupted table straight from Toyota or VFTune or just BH2.0? Any idea on what the data from the corrupted table is used for?

I think it was just a bug that crept in during file creation.

It's a table that basically commanded whether or not the vehicle would be receiving port injection fueling or not. We don't even edit it for our tunes.

It's not corrupted on stock file, so something happened during file building somehow.

Bummer that you have to do this - certainly a lot of work and time. Fortunately, you caught the issue and are addressing it - another sign of the commitment to your work and customers. Thank you! All very much appreciated.

That's up to you but the issue was quite prevalent on the 2021-23MY, so I'd say wait a couple days for us to get all this rebuilt and distributed

I am wanting to get my 2023 A/T tuned later this month at the Runnin 4 tacos tune meet in Denver. Do you anticipate the tune files will be updated by March 24 ? As always thank you for all your hard work.

so you are saying the 04B04 has cleared the check - I know you said it was good when the issue began to be reported - just checking the check so-to-speak. TIA.

It exists on 2016-20MY 6AT ECUs too, but the percentage rate of reported issues is exponentially lower than 04C21 ('21-23).

So ultimately we're rebuilding all files nonetheless.

Okay everyone, update from the frontline. After several days with my nose in computers I discovered a couple problems.

First one was addressed above and there was in fact a corrupted map. I've dug deep on this and it doesn't look like every ECU was affected. However, because it would take incredibly long to find every instance, we have chosen to rebuild the library in its entirety. I've seen this map get boogered exactly one other time and once it's like that, there's no repairing it.

Second, many many data logs have been flowing in that all showed a strange throttle fluctuation that hadn't been on any logs prior to release. However, we finally nailed it all down yesterday and will be working on getting everyone updated.

This has been a tricky to trace down because it hasn't been reported on every truck. However, we've got it corrected and will be getting files sent out. I've been working on this pretty much nonstop, but took a break to give everyone an update on where we stand with the cause/resolution. I hope to have everything completed and delivered within the next couple days.
