Exciting news! Few questions… I was going to get the Yotawerx tune on my 2023 this Sunday at the R4T event in Denver. Is the latest version available by this weekend? ( I know some post release bugs of the Blackhawk 2.0 were being worked out) or should I wait till the merger and collaboration process is done ? I’m about a 2.5 hour round trip to the closest tuner so I didn’t want to get tuned and then make another round trip just to get updated in a few weeks. Rather wait until the final revision is complete just less back and forth for me. I know that this tune will be a force to be reckoned with!!

The acquisition process is pretty much done, for the most part, but YotaWerx processes and services are unaffected overall and continuing as usual.

Kevin will have an update posted prior to the 23rd.

You are correct in your observation that Kevin has not posted his updated information regarding the patch that he is working on.

Additionally, I might add that someone so keen to watch and comment on quoted timelines may have been more inclined to be more communicative early on when Kevin was trying to get information from you via email regarding the issue in a timely manner, while you instead chose to let those go unanswered and post less informative comments here. This would suggest a general lack of interest in a solution, rather than being invested in it.

I am not saying that you have an obligation to assist with patching the calibration. You don't, nor do I want someone assisting if they don't care. I also fully understand the desire to get what you paid for. Everyone else here is in the same boat.

But it may strike people as odd if you are so determined to get this patched update for a calibration that you supposedly don't even like as much as other options, and supposedly have no interest in flashing to your vehicle.

After all, this is quite at odds with your statements in other threads, raving about how they're the best thing out there and in stark comparison to other options you've tried, and how those calibrations are what's staying on your truck. I am well aware that you have communicated the same things here and in private via email in the past as well, and yet when asked directly about this in private in order to avoid publicly discussing this for your benefit, the inquiry was ignored. All of this unfortunately makes it look as if your word cannot be trusted due to a lack of consistency, as you make a habit of bouncing around telling everyone that their offering is the best thing available. If everyone is the best, then no one is.

As I communicated before in that email, I do not care about who is the best. You may consider any one of our competitors out there to be the best, but I would rather you be consistent even if it isn't for YotaWerx.

So. What will it be from here on out? Consistent negativity, or consistent patience and support? I would like you to choose one or the other moving forward, because I don't care which as long as I know which version of you I'm getting from now on.

    Thank you.

"You outright lied and said you weren't getting together with KDMax. How many hours later did you announce that is exactly what you were doing?"

There is a significant difference between a merger and an acquisition. I did not lie.

"It looks like money is the most important thing to you, not the customer who will need to come back to get it reflashed when it's finally fixed."

You are certainly entitled to your incorrect opinion. I respect that.

"Jesus, pull up your panties you've got in a bunch, grow a pair and quit whining like a bitch. And, while you're at it, fix that thing you call a tune."

Yes sir. Please also educate me on where I was whining, as I clearly missed that. Thank you for your assistance with this though, as it seems I got my answer from you.

so, i had previously been running Blackhawk 2.0 WW version for over 6 months and very happy with it. No real complaints (at least nothing that I could notice day to day). I recently flashed the AD version after seeing @iexc and @Menjivar54 comments and it's kind of an enigma. I do feel like I get better shifts sometimes and its a great tune, but it requires a significant amount of throttle input vs the WW version (in my opinion) that I do not like. I notice it mostly it taking off in 1st from a dead stop and also rev match downshifting is more difficult.

At the same time, I do feel like my 1st to 2nd shift (the most finicky in this truck) is more consistent.
Anyways, just my 2 cents. Cant go wrong with either one :burnrubber:

Got my 2023 tuned yesterday (by Christian from Yotawerx) with the BH 2.0 weekend warrior. A definite upgrade that every 3rd gen needs. I was expecting maybe a little more throttle response. Still feels like I have to press the pedal down a little bit more than I would have thought to get the engine to respond. But I’m only 80 miles into the tune. So maybe some more time will be needed. Also does using the ECT button have any effect on the tune ?

did you test the Active Duty? Perhaps that would have been the preferred option for your desired response.
ECT will have increased throttle response and will hold gears longer

I did not try the AD. I was first in line of many to get tuned during the runnin 4 tacos event. I did ask Christian about the AD but he recommended that I go with WW for now because I’m stock. I can always go back to R4T for an update if needed. Maybe wait it out till all the recent revisions are ironed out.

I tried the ECT mode on my commute home and I can say wow that’s a noticeable difference between the regular non ECT mode. With the ECT on is how I thought the tune would be in normal mode. It’s more responsive, A/T down shifts are fast/crisp, and you can feel way more “pull” noticeable HP/TQ increase. So maybe I do need the AD version haha. I feel that the base WW tune should feel more like when the ECT is turned on. Don’t get me wrong I still noticed an improvement on the base WW version but turn on ECT and now I get the “wow” factor. Maybe some tweaks to the throttle we be needed for my liking….ie the AD version. With the acquisition I have a feeling that there might be a Blackhawk 3.0 in the works. Lots of great minds getting together will refine what is already good and make it great.

based on your post I think I will make a trip to my daughter's and go ahead and flash her truck to the BH 2.0 WW Tune sooner than later. Glad you like the tune and the YotaWerx efforts to make our trucks enjoyable to drive. Marc and his crew are top notch in my book.
