It's nice and all but it depends on what you use your Tacoma for. For me, no, I have 2 big dogs, getting a boat this spring, will probably suck gas worse than the truck, I enjoy being up higher...I hate driving the wife's car because of it, and puts you into a different "class" of people that I'm not really in to.
Nice car, if someone gave me one for free with free insurance and maint. ...and let me keep the Taco, then sure why not.

Hell ya! Truck is paid off. I'd swap it for a 60K car in a heartbeat and buy another Taco under 30K. Be a fool not to.

Well, I can say many mis-perceptions out there!!!

I own an M3 and a 7 series (I am sure your perceptions are brewing) and while I like the truck, it's a piece of shit when I compare to things like gas mileage, performance, fit, finish, quality and daily driving fun.

    But that's me!

The 7 handles like a go cart (active suspension)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQiUpqlTTqk&feature=player_embedded

0-60 in less than 6 in a car that large. My best mileage was on a trip to go backpacking in Utah - 26mpg! Try that in our trucks! :) The best I've been able to get is 12.5. :(

And the M3 is a great at what it does too.

    ...but that's just me! :)

All vehicles have their pluses and minuses. Own them all and you will know them all!

Depends on what you wantneed it to do? I have an M Coupe with the same motor (S54) as the E46 M3. A lot more fun than a Tacona on my track days and back roads. Not as nice to commute in, and it won't haul my dirtbike.
